Omgosh, she's 17 years old. She's still growing. I think Jordin Sparks is beautiful and represents all plus-size women out there. She's not even obese. I don't know what people are talking about, but she, in my opinion, represents beauty. Society's standards of body size are so out of wack these days, that anorexia is considered normal. What do you think?

She represents more what we SHOULD look like, we shouldn't be stick skinny like Paris, Lindsay, Nichole, etc.
In the US you are either fat or skinny, we need a good median, Jordin is closer to the median than others say(she is still growing, she is only a teen). We should just be average considering weight, or at least try to be.
I think she is s good role model for teens and young girls, not everyone is super skinny, and she shows you don't have to be!She shows it is okay to be who you are.
If she is "overweight" like they say, so what? Beauty is not only outside, it is on the inside too, she has that.

I think that she is pretty and normal and OK as she is but she is not an idol and will disappear fast. Out of this year - I predict that Blake will do the best - Melinda was by far the best singer of this or any season - but like Jordan - she is not really the idol type. You have to have looks and appeal and some talent. Talent alone will not get it and does not matter or we would not have Britney, Hillery, Lindsay, Justin et. al. . They attract attention and are the worst of the mediocre singers throughout the history of music.

She's probably over the weight that a doctor thinks she should be, but she does look like every American. She'll probably dp Celebrity Fit Club next! You're right though, she is a beautiful girl.

Who cares? as long as she's healthful. some people who're over weight are extra healthy than people who're skinny. it incredibly is disgusting how Hollywood tries to push "skinny is in" and persons starve themselves to slot in. Actually girls stop growing at 16, so she wont be getting any taller. But I do agree with you she isn't overweight, just a big girl.
