If Ford, Chrysler, and GM keep on screwing up business wise, yeah, it will happen. It wont be NASCAR's fault if that were to be the case, thats for sure.

It will never happen. Ford and Chevy are way to big to let that happen. But still, I have never seen a Honda in a Nascar race. And the Toyotas are never going to become popular in nascar, they just dont have what it takes. the Toyos that have entered the races are still struggling terribly to even finish a race, let alone win them. And until the start dominating the winners circle, they are short lived!

Would you look at were these cars and made that race in Nascar. Ford Fusion is made in Mexico because I know I work for FORD. Chevy Monte Carlo is made in Canada, the Dodge Charger is also made in Canada, and Toyota is made in Kentucky so which car would you say is an American made car. Of Course the owners are Japanese but hell they are the only car made in America that races in NASCAR.

I don't see them taking over nascar like they did the Indy or Craftsman truck but I do expect them to be more competitive in 3 to 5 years I think the car that is in the most danger at this point of being fazed out if it was to happen would have to be dodge

Well, it's going to be tough for GM, Dodge and Ford to field cars when they're bankrupt. I guess it will happen within a few years.
And NASCAR nation should not be hypocrites about foreign competition, after all, Wal*Mart is the official store of NASCAR fans and there is NOTHING made in the USA at walmart.

Seriously....SERIOUSLY doubt it. I would hate to see that happen. I think right now Chevy, Ford, and Dodge are doing just fine. Don't fix it if it ain't broke I say. I don't mind Toyota coming in, but I doubt NASCAR will ever be predominantly Japanese manufacturers. I hope to the good Lord not anyway.

until eventually I observed EdP's answer I had in suggestions the Plymouth Superbird or the stay sparkling of Charger the two with the wings... Heck with it, IT nevertheless IS one in each of THEM 2 autos! I enjoyed it while Richard Petty ultimately enable the cat out of the bag with 'He did no longer care the place NASCAR mandated the wing attitude, it replaced into the two verticals that gave them the laterial stability that he needed the main' those 2 verticals helped the rear stick like glue, the horizontal wing even regardless of the undeniable fact that advantageous replaced into on there to characteristic stability for the uprights at intense speeds. WTG Richard, and others who have been the winged warriors. Did everybody undergo in suggestions the Hollman-Moody Tarrino Tallidaga of the comparable era with the prolonged hunch frontend? {Sorry for the misspelling}
