is the thought of there NOT being a god scary to you?
is that why people believe there is a god? (i'm holding a 2 week old puppy right now, that my reason for not capitalizing that stupid g, okay?)
is the thought that there isn't an invisible sky daddy watching over the balance of nature and protecting the planet really that scary???

I guess YES it is scary. To me anyways. I have to have a god in my life. there is so much bad and evil in the world. If there was not a god full of love and mercy to counter balance that bad and evil then I would be absolutely terrified.

I don't exactly understand your question. But some people believe in God because they choose too. I wouldn't think there is anything scary about it ... on the contrary, I think it's wonderful that there is a God. If there wasn't a God it would be scary. Why? Because he helps people behave from above. If there wasn't a God, who know's what the world would be right now.

I live my life the best I can and try to raise my children to the best of my ability...
whether there is a God or not , I would still be the same and doing the same
for me , I believe in a God energy due to personal experiences that I cant deny

No the thought of there not being a God... dosen't scare me...no one has ever seen him... so how do we know there even is a God

I don't think people believe in God ONLY because they are scared of what we don't know. I don't see why people's faith needs to be questioned..it's what we want to believe..get over it.

Not really. The concept of an eternal afterlife and living your life in fear of a wrathful god/bad afterlife doesn't appeal to me.

Very scary...even scarier is the thought that their are foolish people running around thinking they no longer need to be accountable to any God.
