Would you say "l'apres-francais", "apres-francais", l'apres francais", "apres francais", or is there some other way to say it?
I really appreciate the help, I'm a first-year French student so simple no complicated stuff.

Hello! I am french and sure that the best anwser would be "après le cours de français" (meaning: after the french lesson). But in spoken languague U can also say "après le français".
If you want a correct french, you are obliged to use "de". In a way in means something close to "of" (after the lesson of french, litterally).

PS: "Class" is only used to talk about the classroom, or the class group. Not about lessons.

Sorry for my complicated language!

You would have to say "la classe de" or "le cours de." Apres francais doesn't convey the meaning you want it to in French. There is no such thing as a word for word translation to another language, often we must add or subtract words to clarify the meaning. If you don't want to use that expression, give the time. "A dix heures et demie," that is, at 10:30.

"Apres le cours de francais"

eg. "see you after French" = "on se voit apres mon cours de francais" (if the person is not attending the class - use "...apres le cours..." if talking to a classmate)

I wouldn't say "apres la classe de francais" although it might be used in Quebec (not sure about that, I'm from France).

Definitely pay attention to Maya's answer (just above me). You must use the word "cours" and not "classe" as some people have suggested. "Classe" refers to the classroom or the people in your class, and not the actual course. You would want to say "Apres le cours de francais" (with accents included, of course)>
