Do you lie or cheat? A lie is a lie and know ones perfect.

Was Jesus Christ our example in ALL things while He walked this earth a liar and a cheat?!!! I dare say NOT!!! Then neither are His followers, who claim to be TRUE men of God!!! Does this answer your question, or should I quote here some Scriptures to back up, what I know is obvious to you already even before you wrote down your question!!!
All men have at one point or another lied and or cheated about something or to someone. But true men of Christ REPENT if they find themselves given into the desires of the FLESH and are deeply remorseful for what they have done. We are ALL NOT PERFECT, and while we are in this MORTAL FLESH, if we are NOT walking daily in the SPIRIT of Jesus the Christ, we can surely SIN!!!

Turn on the television preachers for a good view of men of God lying and cheating.

How do you define true men of God?

All the religious people I have known were more dishonest and vengeful than the atheists. This is what turns many people off religion.

Well, they shouldn't - but yes some do.Is it right no.But on the other hand no one is perfect. They are only forgiven like everyone else. Because they might be a man of God doesn't mean they won't make mistakes and need to repent. They are flesh and blood just like anyone else.

“He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” John 8:7
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us. 1 John 1:8-10
Christians do not purposely sin. We are new creations in Christ. True men or God repent (which means to turn from your sins)
