My mother came to US on a visitor visa & stayed for 5 months. I plan on getting her back to the US after her 1 month stay in India. Is it going to be a problem during the immigration check when they find that the visa holder had just returned from US a month ago.

One month stay in India will be enough that your mother could return as long as she is not suspected of working in US. The reason to be relayed to the US Immigration officer must be valid in order that she will be allowed entry.

Clearly you know nothing of your country's immigration laws which I guess, is in keeping with your politicians. You see I came to the US on a Fiance Visa, which took nine long months to get, in order to marry my American Citizen wife. We then filed paperwork to adjust my status to that of a Permanent US Resident. However, nine months after having completed my biometrics (fingerprints) appointment I am still waiting for my Green Card. The problem is that the FBI has my application stuck in a name check and no-one can tell me when it will be cleared because the system is mired in inefficiency, mismanagement and ineptitude. Furthermore, the process for checking names is antiquated with agents having to retrieve files from one of over 265 locations nationwide and checking that file manually. The irony is that I worked for the British Ministy of Defence for a year after I left college and then worked for the police in the UK for five years before coming here. I have worked on local, national and international anti-terrorism operations, (can you say that? what have you personally done to secure your countries borders?), and yet your country treats me like a criminal. I am stuck in administrative prison because I am not allowed to drive, work or leave the US and because I can't prove that I am a resident I can't get health insurance. So it seems to me that you're government is doing a great job at weeding out those of us who might be terrorists meanwhile you have a huge freaking border to the South that is virtually unmanned allowing anyone and everyone to cross it without permission. Feeling safe are you? Finally, I personally think that all Americans entering the UK during the 70s and 80s should have required a visa as it is well documented that many of your countrymen funded the IRA and therefore sponsored terrorism against British citizens. Makes you feel a little less self-righteous about 9/11 when you here that, huh? PS: Ever heard of John Walker Lyndh, Timothy McVeigh or Ted Kacznski? Seems to me you do a good job of raising your own terrorists.
