Perú is the best, they don't have an accent like other countries do.
don't go to Chile they speak terrible Spanish.
in perú you can go to Cuzco a city that is in the Andes you can live the experience to be in that spectacular place in the meanwhile you are learning Spanish.

I were you I'll avoid Argentina, República Dominicana, Cuba,Venezuela, Uruguay and Mexico because they accent and words are a bit "strange" for say something. I'm not against them, don't get me wrong I like the people from that countries but I think Perú, Bolivia, El Salvador would be better they are not so many english speaker there.
work hard in your spanish speaking all the time and asking all that you don't understand and that's the best way to learn it.

Well it I guess it depends on what type of Spanish you'd like to learn. In my experience I've notice that the places closest to the U.S. (Puerto Rico, Mexico, Dominican Republic) have the largest number of anglicisms in their speech. Words like hi, bye, plus tons of other terms like checar and parquear are common in these places. These countries that are usually noticed for being the "purest in speech are usually Peru and Colombia. Personally I prefer the Mexican accent though. So I guess it all just comes down to preference. If you don't my a few spanglish terms here in there I think that Mexico would be a great place to learn. If you are trying to learn Spanish in its purest form however then try Peru or Colombia.

Buenas Suertes!

Hola,
I think Perú is a great option, I don't want to offend to others but most of people (europeans) don't like the Spanish accent in countries like Mexico, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Chile, ...)
Perú have amazing places to visit, about cultural places you can visit Cuzco to learn about Inkas' land...by the way MACHU PICCHU will be one of the new 7 wonders around the world ;)
We are richest with natural places than other countries (maybe Brazil is near to us), and if you love to practice adventure sports, Perú is your best option. ;D
Regards!
PS. Sorry for my mistakes, I'm learning English yet.

I would vote for Colombia.

To really learn Spanish, you have to immerse yourself in the language (academically) and practically, by the culture which can only be gained by experience.

I am sure others will give you options but whatever you decide, learn embrace the Spanish language.

By the way, you will find that Colombia's culture embraces its African heritage.

Suerte.
