Kill everyone who has religious beliefs that are different from your own. 17:2-7

God brought the Israelites out of Egypt "by war ... and by great terrors." 4:34

God commands his people to "consume all the people which the Lord thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity on them." 7:16

If your brother, son, daughter, wife, or friend tries to get you to worship another god, "thou shalt surely kill him, thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death." 13:6-10

If you have a "stubborn and rebellious son," then you and the other men in your neighborhood "shall stone him with stones that he die." 21:18-21

If a man marries, then decides that he hates his wife, he can claim she wasn't a virgin when they were married. If her father can't produce the "tokens of her virginity" (bloody sheets), then the woman is to be stoned to death at her father's doorstep. 22:13-21

Islam

* The Prophet said, "Avoid the seven great destructive sins." The people enquire, "O Allah's Apostle! What are they? "He said, "To join others in worship along with Allah, to practice sorcery, to kill the life which Allah has forbidden except for a just cause, (according to Islamic law), to eat up Riba (usury), to eat up an orphan's wealth, to give back to the enemy and fleeing from the battlefield at the time of fighting, and to accuse, chaste women, who never even think of anything touching chastity and are good believers.

The holy Quran

* "Fight in the way of Allah against those who fight against you, but begin not hostilities. Lo! Allah loveth not, aggressors. ( Al-Bakera :190)

* ·" Fight in the way of Allah against those who fight against you, but begin not hostilities. Lo! Allah loveth not, aggressors. ( Al-Bakera :68)

There was a time in history before the 10 commandments became accepted throughout the civilized world, when God condoned the death penalty for severe offenders.
In time, it was no longer necessary for God's chosen people to execute those in violation of the 10 commandments because, as it still is in our day, all nations created their law codes based on those commandments.
Once that had come about, Yhshua was sent by YHWH to teach us a new way; please read the following Scriptures:
Matthew 5:44-48
Matthew 26:52
Luke 6:27
Luke 10:27
John 13:34, 35
John 15:17
1 Peter 2:23
1 Peter 3:9
Romans 12:17
Romans 13:10
2 Timothy 2:24
1 Corinthians 16:14
1 John 3:9-15
1 John 4:20

agape!

Christ said - only one way to heaven.

God said to destroy all so not one could teach their evil ways.

God will destroy all idol worshipers.

God will destroy a young person who rebels against Him just like God will destroy an older person who rebels against Him.

God is very much against fornication as witnessed by the so-called virgin. A fornicator does not enter the kingdom of heaven. God will destroy a fornicator.

God was making Israel His chosen people to serve Him. God is a righteous God. No sin in Him. And no sin will be around Him. What God is trying to say since you refuse to accept His Word is if you disobey God you will be punished. For that reason God sent Jesus to take away our sins.

Only God can say kill this group and know the hearts of the group because God created them. Man cannot do this.

When God says, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom" - BELIEVE IT. The devil wants us to tolerate everything. God doesn't tolerate SIN. Obey God and live.

wow - are you having a bad day or something????
blah blah blah in all these religious books! threats violence and more threats ! is that all that religions come up with!
i have absolutely nothing to gain by saying things like out of context or not true!

the reason that is is because I do not believe in the bible and Koran - and that is that!
and by today's standards violence in the name of anything including religions , is socially and morally unacceptable!

ohhhh - I am not done yet!!!!

LAST TIME I CHECKED IN ANY RELIGION IT IS WRONG TO KILL!

I am not finished yet -

so don't point fingers because all religions are guilty of homicide! so don't judge!

have a nice day!

Different times.

At the same time, Christianity has gone through a great deal of change in the last few centuries (you were paying attention, right?).

Islam, however, still believes in the utter truth of their holy texts, and the number of such references in there to killing unbelievers and such are plentiful indeed. Christians who believe in the utter infallibility of their Bible are fairly rare.

The old testament is as blood thirsty and barbaric as the Quran, but it is The Jewish religion and Christians outside the US do not believe in it. Christianity starts with Christ (New Testament)

What you quoted from the Quran were the good parts. In fact you have made a dishonest comparison. A religious person who stoops to such methods dishonors his religion.

Yes--thats why I firmly believe that the religious texts were all written by man--(NOT god) in times that were dark and cruel and backward.
