I'm not saying that I do or don't believe in god, I am one of those people that is just honest about not knowing and realize there could be many possibilities. One thing I have realized though is that the things that are written in the bible seem a little far fetched. But the teachings are just basically everything you need to know to live in society and get along. Someone had to create the bible, but I'm not sure it was the same person that created earth and all it has to offer. I do believe in evolution, just for the fact that it makes sense to me. You also can kind of see what they are talking about. I don't want to know if the bible and god are real or not. It gives people something to believe in and keeps people on the right course in life. That is enough for me to say that it is a good thing. If we didn't believe in something the world would be crazy.

I have a feeling if we didn't ask questions like this there would be no "god". This is like staying in a past we have no proof that even existed at least this how I see it anyway. I for one don't tend to worry about something like that we are here and just make the best of things. Which bible is more accurate? Better yet which parts?

Nope, we came from microbes, or bacteria which formed with humidity in moist places, it was a scientific reaction that started life, if there was a god, why hasn't he intervened on anything, nothing at all for all of human existence, the bible was a book written by some idiot about a carpenter running round performing so called "miracles" ... yeah right!!! Wake up and smell the bullshit !!!!

"Someone once said that if you sat a million monkeys at a million typewriters for a million years, one of them would eventually type out all of Hamlet by chance. But when we find the text of Hamlet, we don't wonder whether it came from chance and monkeys. Why then does the atheist use that incredibly improbable explanation for the universe? Clearly, because it is his only chance of remaining an atheist. At this point we need a psychological explanation of the atheist rather than a logical explanation for the universe."

okay, so you said "Does anyone really believe that all that is living today just developed over several thousand years of evolution?"
and i say "Does anybody really believe that some spirit dude came down from the "heavens" and poofed us all here?"
that cell was developed over some amount of time too. i just find it very very very very impossible to believe that somebody created us all in 7 days. so who made god? he didnt just poof here unless there is a long line of gods that poofed each other and our god poofed us by accident insted of another god. oh yeah, that sounds real. i think that you guys sound like a bunch of tards that just made up some story because they didnt pay attention in science class.

A question for you - does god actively direct every division of every cell of every living thing everywhere?
If you believe that a cell can divide without god's active intervention, isnt' that like blowing up your bomb in a new car and ending up with two cars?
All sorts of processes are capable of self organization. Take Noah's legendary rainbow. It has nothing to do with god painting each and every rainbow in the sky to remind us of the flood. It is just the basic physics of light and refraction. The bands of color organize themselves without god's help. Snowflakes do not require legions of angels to create them, they just do it.
Ultimately, the same applies to life. Organization can start simple and work up to the complex. It can adapt and evolve. It can result in us.

Uray has an experiment from the 50's that recreated all of the basic compounds to make life and what we believed the conditions to be at the origin of life. Dawkins, Blind Watch Maker explains your junkyard caparison .

I BELIEVE IN GOD. And it's clearly said in the Holy Bible that God created us and all other lviing things- period. The Holy Bible is God's written word. As for the theory of Evolution, it's just a theory and it's entirely untrue. It may make sense to a lot of people (just because it helps explain on how things came about) but still there are missing links to it- only proves that one cannot outwit the supreme authority and power of our living God who created all things beautiful and wonderful.

Believe it or not, the historical account of the Bible is very accurate. The Bible has been translated several times, but, as carefully and meticulously as possible.

I am dumbfounded. You hit the nail right on the head. A cell couldn't just spark into being. Anyone who knows anything about science knows that life is not spontaneously created.
