If she says exactly what you said, as a man I would find it harmless. She just thinks he's a nice guy, though if I just happened to go into the office and see them playing around I might be a bit upset. Then again we work together so I may have a slighted answer.

I am a male and I am going to tell you my answer in a story format: Husband and wife that live together and work together. 7:00 am wake and have breakfeast. 8:00 am get to work, same department or not 12:00 pm lunch together 5:00 pm get off work together 6:00 have dinner together 10:00 sleep together. Wife ask husband, how was breakfeast. Husband is there. Husband ask wife, how is lunch Wife is there. See my point, there isn't much to talk about. We are need our own friend and space. Stephen has his own wife and kids. Kelly husband is still worry. Would being friend with the boss that has no wife and no kid to be better?? Kelly is bring home story to talk around the table instead of just sitting there. If there is no commcation or laugh around the house, who do you think kill it. Kelly or Kelly's husband? The bottom line is that we are have friend. I am sure that Kelly's husband has friend at work that share their stories and bring it home to Kelly. If Kelly's husband tell no stories, then I think Kelly's hsuband has something to hide. He is the one not being honest. Kelly on the other hand is being honest and tell everything to his husband. In return of kelly honest, comes husband jealous. Therefore Kelly is mistrusted and disrespected by her husband. Husband and wife should trust each other and respect. If one is willing to be honest, than there is no worry. If one is not being honest or not telling anything, than that person is hidding. Therefore he or she is pointing the finger at others because he or she has done it at their work place. So Kelly's Husband should wake up and get Kelly a nice chrismas gift plus a vacation to get her out of the office if Kelly's husband is still worry.

If she mentioned it once - it means she is glad to have a nice collegue, that's all. If she keeps talking about him then the message is his marriage needs some work if he wants it to last. She is trying to convey to him that she feels he's not paying enough attention to her. It has nothing to do with his manliness. She wants quality time together. If you don't have enough quality time together, even the office time with a stranger across the hallway might seem important or interesting.

If she is telling her husband these things either 1) She is completely platonic with him and that is why she feels comfortable talking about him to her husband. Or 2) She is in a way wanting her husband to be a little protective and ask questions, b/c maybe she feels he doesn't care enough in that dept. u get me?

all depends, how long has she known this person, was he a friend before of after her husband. did they ever go on a date. is this person in touch with her after work, when she's at home with her husband. does her husband know him. your letter is is not explaining much to form a solid opinion..

sounds like she wants more attention from her husband... may be he's been distant and she wants him to feel jealous of this coworker guy..... if she wanted an affair, she woudl've had it long time ago. May be she wants the husband to be more aware of what she does....by putting doubts on his mind, so he digs her more.
