Bachelor of Science, as opposed to a B.A., which is a Bachelor of Arts.

Between the two, any B.S. program will usually be better help getting a job in business, science or elsewhere.

B.S. is also the abbreviation for Bull S#$%, coincidentally, so be careful when you tell people you are getting a BS degree. J/K.

BS Degree= Bachelor of Science
BA Degree= Bachelor of Arts

Both are your 4 year college degrees, with different requirements. The BS degree requires a greater percentage of math and science courses than a BA degree would require.
