Traps work better than nets.
Honestly, I don't think the internet is the best place to meet people - especially if you're older (you didn't mention your age) unless you pay out the big bucks for eharmony or some other dating site.
I've found that being out and about is where you get to meet people who have similar interests. That, and getting to know friends of friends of friends.

First of all don't get desperate for a man in your life; you will settle for less than you deserve! Try to get out more and meet guys in the real world. A couple of good guy hunting grounds (I know this, I'm a guy). Try at a laundrymat or the grocery store! Any guy who is doing laundry or shopping for food alone is probably "available" (unless his wife has him exceptionally well-trained!). Once you find a suitable specimen, employ SFP (standard flirting proceedures)! I wish you luck in your quest for that perfect guy!

Believe in yourself , be courageous and move to search where ever your mind direct you, if mr ( A ) seems to turn out bad mr ( B ) will certainly turn out to be the best thing that will ever happen to you, so follow the exact direction of your mind.

So get off the computer and start getting involved in church,sports, local clubs(not bars or strip joints), theater, politics, etc.

i think the best thing to do is go out with a friend and "go browsing" that way. go to a club and see if any men try to come up to you.

i don't think anything can help you if you can't find someone on the internet. but losing 150 pounds couldn't be a bad thing.
