which religion or belief is true and the only way? and why?

No religion is true. Only Jesus. "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one come to the father except through me." John 14:6

If you are Christian.....I would say Christianity.
If you are Jewish.......I would say Judaism.
If you were Hindu ........I would say Hinduism.
If you were Muslim......I would say Islam

That kinds of sums it up!

I am a Sufi, and I find all the religions justifiable.
They all have there place.

God (Allah), and many others names, seems to not find any difficulty with them either.
The followers of some of the religions, now that is another story!

Seek your own path and place your heart into it full time!

Just pray. If you want to know what church is true and that you should belong to, nobody can tell you what to believe. You need to find it yourself. If you have friends or missionaries or anyone of that nature trying to get you to join to a church, they are just showing you the path, but you need to walk down it yourself. I know what I believe is true, and It's not because it's easy, because life isn't meant to be easy. If you want to know what to do, try several things and pray on each one, and see which one gives you the answer you need.

The only way to find the true church is to pray for guidence... and search for it.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all men liberally and ubraideth not and it shall be given him.

well there is only one Almighty God his Name is Jehovah, if your using the KJ see ex 6:3, (if the NIV see the preface) & he created mankind & even paid the ransom price for Adam with the death of his son, Jesus came to help people understand his father better, & it is only through the ransom of Jesus that you will have a chance to be saved. now remember Jesus made it plain that not all who claim to be Christens would meet that requirement

(Matthew 7:21-23) 21 “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. 22 Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ 23 And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew YOU! Get away from me, YOU workers of lawlessness.

but you see God's original plan for humans was to live as perfect people on the earth. Gen 1:28 they were perfect when he gave that command. he hasn't changed his plan just altered the way it will play out, there is a number that do go to Heaven to rule as Kings & priests with the Christ
(Revelation 5:9-10) . . .And they sing a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, because you were slaughtered and with your blood you bought persons for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth.”

And I saw, and, look! the Lamb standing upon the Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand having his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads. 2 And I heard a sound out of heaven as the sound of many waters and as the sound of loud thunder; and the sound that I heard was as of singers who accompany themselves on the harp playing on their harps. 3 And they are singing as if a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one was able to master that song but the hundred and forty-four thousand, who have been bought from the earth.

but the vast majority are destined to be on the earth

you see the Kingdom of God is a form of Government with Jesus as the King & 144,000 associate rulers (I'm not one of them) but who will they rule over well they will shepard mankind back to perfection

(1 Corinthians 15:24-28) 24 Next, the end, when he hands over the kingdom to his God and Father, when he has brought to nothing all government and all authority and power. 25 For he must rule as king until [God] has put all enemies under his feet. 26 As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing. 27 For [God] “subjected all things under his feet.” But when he says that ‘all things have been subjected,’ it is evident that it is with the exception of the one who subjected all things to him. 28 But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone.

as for the rest of mankind they have had their chance, their as expendable as flowers God can replace them with
unskilled labor
