Heres the thing, religion usually makes a person narrow minded and arrogant. Religion may be a powerful thing because now you have something to believe in, but you'll never experience or even think of stuff outside of your religion. There is no evidence that Christianity is real or even correct. You just have to stick what you believe in and hope that however your religion names the higher being above is correct. But pushing your religion on someone who doesn't want to believe in your belief is really stupid. Don't force anything on anyone.

Because that is not the truth for everyone. Jesus was not the son of God in my belief. He therefore isn't the only way to "heaven".
You should ask people if you can pray for them. Some don't like people using magick on them.

What makes you so sure lady? Because some ancient, primitive, religious maniacs, said so in double talk? Truth needs far stricter tests.
Science starts by assuming everything is false unless it is proved to be true. Even then the accepted explanation can be rejected and replaced by a better explanation at any time.
Religion abhors those who offer different explanations. Science honors them. This, in a nutshell, is the difference between religion and science. Which do you think is best?

I'm happy for you. I have been very blessed and am very happy in life, too. I simply pray everyone finds their own path to whatever it is they seek. And I mean no disrespect by this, but I think I should say that my life was worse with Jesus in it. Well, it wasn't Jesus' fault (in retrospect), it was how I allowed others and what they did in Jesus' name to effect me (and the fact that I found other flaws with the religion etc...). Unfortunately, all of that turned me off of Jesus and I did a lot of searching and found another path to deity that actually works for me.

Why can't you understand that those are your religious beliefs and not verified facts? Just as you don't believe in the tenets of other faiths, and their gods are irrelevant to you, Jesus is irrelevant to non-Christians.
I tried Christianity for a while.. and my life wasn't any better. In fact, once I turned towards Hashem and back to the faith of my birth, I became more confident and it just felt... right. I felt no spiritual connection to Jesus, but I always feel Hashem.
Now, please do not try to tell me that Hashem is Satan or any such nonsense. I am just trying to demonstrate my point. For YOU, and for other Christians, life IS better with Jesus, but for non-Christians... nope, nothing, nada.

Because some religions aren't accepting of people with differences and some people can't see God/Jesus outside of a religion.
*shrugs* and some people just view God and Jesus in a different light and worship Him in a different way.

Why can't some people see that life is better when you think for yourself and use logic and reason to figure things out? Why can't people see life is better when you know you can do great things without the help of religion or god? To know that it was YOU who did it, not some supernatural being?
I'll never get it.

Don't pray for me because you only pray to gain brownie points with your deity not because you really care. If you did really care about me you would respect that I am an agnostic and you wouldn't do such a thing as pray for someone who does not believe in it.
I shook my christian indoctrination in 1984 and I have absolutely no desire to ever go back.

Actually would it make sense for me to say, “Hey this flight (life) is not going to land smoothly it's going to crash (death) so put on this parachute (Jesus) and it will make your flight better.”? It would not make any sense, I tell you.
If you all would indulge me I will use a word picture that I heard on wayofthemasterradio.com/podcast
and I’ll add a little to it.
So, it is possible to make people resent us (Christians) when we say Jesus will make your life better when, really, we are told to tell them that they need to put on the parachute. A parachute does NOT make your flight better! It makes your loss of flight better!
(Extra indulgence here):
Yet, most of the passengers refuse to wear it because it is not comfortable and besides…their flight and destination seem to be all according to the flight plan that they were told.
In fact, they were told that they are the captain of their own life (flight) and not to listen to the true pilot and captain.
Those who listen and put on the Jesus will be saved, those who don't listen are the proud and the foolish.

To me, this is like saying, they are afraid to ride a bike. Loving Jesus, and Trusting Jesus is JUST like jumping on a bike, and just RIDING! It's THAT SIMPLE!
