Absolutely. We believe that we should be good stewards of the earth and take care of it. (God created it, so we'd better!)

My church is building a larger church on a piece of land. We're saving all the trees that are two inches in diameter or bigger. And for a fundraiser, we're having a huge aluminum recycling drive.

So, yes. Christians are earth-loving people. Hope that answers your question. :)

Yes, absolutely.

While not animists per se, heathens do see the natural world as *inhabited* . . . as the realm of vaettir and huldufolk with whom it is important to live in harmony, for our own prosperity and fertility. Our model is more the careful stewardship of the crofter and organic farmer than the primeval wilderness of the "Earth First!" types, however.

After all . . . we live here TOO.

My religion is Christian,
My faith is Seventh Day Adventist...and we are environmentally conscience.

God gave us this world to take care of....how can we truly say we love Him if we do not do as He asked us from the beginning to tend the soil and nuture our world?

Yes! I'm Jewish, and the concept of tikkun olam, "healing the world," is literal as well as spiritual for us. We are very much committed to preserving the natural world for all the generations to come.
