Ok my reason for being rude when people tell me about jesus is I hear it all the time from people that I don't want to hurt it's god this and god that since I was born all I've heard is god this and god that. I am now an adult and I don't want to hear it and people keep forcing it on me you can only take so much before you burst. I worked with a woman who constantly talked about god and I would just nod my head and walk away but at one point she got up in my face and was preaching to me at work! That got to me how dare someone preach to me at work? I told her right there I do not believe in God please stop telling me about this in a very nice way she didn't stop and kept it up for the longest time until I just got very rude. First of all not everyone believes what you do. Second of all the ones that don't believe what you do they don't want to be converted. "the truth" is your truth maybe not theirs. It can not be 100% proven or 100% disproven.

Ba'al is THE WAY - THE TRUTH - THE LIGHT! Only through him can you know El. This is the truth (let's say I say according to Canaanite writings which predate Christianity by thousands of years).

So me telling you this when you vehemently don't believe it - how does it make you feel? Like you want to be rude to me?

Think about it - I believe your religion to be a lie and mine to be truth. You're telling me your religion is right and I'm wrong. Doesn't it make sense that I might get a little cranky because I have a completely different truth? Seriously - walk in another person's shoes for a minute.

People can be rude when I answer a question and ask a question. Either they don't answer me when I ask or their rude when I ask a sincere question. So, I have decided to limit to waste my time asking on here.

Truth is subjective. If they don't want to listen, and tell you so, then you are being rude by insisting on occupying their time. Do not be so foolish to believe that you can teach the world about your God.

It is really getting bad here lately...I'm not sure WHAT is going on...but being rude, seems to be the policy...

you mean you are telling them YOUR truth....your truth isn't the same as their truth. truth isn't always objective. you would do just the same if someone tried to tell you about atheism and all they are doing is telling you the truth.

Your opinion of interpretation of scripture and truth, may not be their opinion....so, it is rude to tell someone else they are wrong, when they are convicted otherwise.

No, all you are doing is telling them your opinion and CALLING it "the truth".

There's a really, really, really, REALLY big difference.

Yes I especially hate it when ignorant people walk up to me to tell me about some fictional character who imposes on my rights. I hate when those same people then turn around and persecute other people based of their fantasies. Please spread your diseases elsewhere.
