if the hair is dry then it would probably need some kind of moisturizing shampoo. (garnier fructis,etc...)
or just wait for a while not sure about using it on infants.

The shampoo you used was so harsh that you basically "permed" it straight. It will grow out curly again. For now invest in a baby shampoo that is moisturizing, that will help with the dry flakes of the scalp (I'm assuming thats why you used the dandruff shampoo in the first place) and re softening the hair.

dandruff shampoo is extremely harsh and the active ingredient is usually sulfur. i cannot believe you used it on a baby's head. the way to fix it would be to never have used it in the first place. i am only 19 years old and i know these things. it's basically common sense. it's kind of upsetting that you used dandruff shampoo on a baby. maybe you don't understand what it is for. ughh. i'm done.

Dilute a bit of Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo to remove product build up.
Stick w/ baby shampoo in future. (Johnson & Johnson, Aveeno, etc.)

they make "baby" shampoo for a reason! Do not use anything for dandruff on a baby's head!

i think what happens with some products is that the chemicals in them disrupt the hydrogen bonds in the hair...but i think if you stop using it and go back to baby shampoo, you baby's hair will grow back normally. it'll probably take some time. but im thinking it'll happen within a couple of weeks.
