I was sitting outside today enjoying the beautiful day we are having breathing in the fresh, clean air and thought. How can people really be so dumb and closed minded to think that there is no God. We have everything we need here on earth to live. The earth was made for human life. It is common sense to know that the earth was made, everything is to perfect for human. We have air, food, sun, and water all is natural from the earth. Somehow scientist want us to believe that it started from a big bang. Now really that could not be thesable. To much time and preparing went into a world so complex. It didn't just happen one day and we evolved from there. Now I believe we evolved some, look at Adam and Eve we came along way.So evolved I guessed wouldn't be the word more like adapted rather. As we adapted God should us how to extend our brain more to have what we have now cars, computer, fire, telephone, and all the luxuries in life. We should be grateful that God gave us a chance at life. Instead lot of people (naming no names atheist) are making a mockery of God's work. God was good enough to make this world perfect for us to live in and that's how you treat him?
Anyway I feel sorry for you guys. My point is that God is real and common sinse tells you that. Why would you pick common sense over speculation from scientist? If you still deciede to then I know why our world have turned so corrupt.
God Bless everyone who believs in our Father and pray for the ones who don't.

Wow. If conditions on the earth were different, we would not be here.

You believe in God because we exist? That is a strong argument.

Could you say the same thing if you had stood in Auschwitz during Hitler's day? Or today, if you were standing in Darfur? Or Iraq, where the killing increases every day?

You see, it's easy to believe when you're sitting outside on a beautiful day, with all your luxuries around you, and you don't have to worry about your next meal, or your home and family being blown up. It's easy to say 'how can you not?'

But people who question often have good reason to question. They look at the horrors around the world, and even within this country, and they rightfully question how could God exist and allow these things to happen?

I do believe God exists, and I do not have answers to all the questions. But I understand why someone could think differently and question. You just have to look past your own little corner of the world and open your eyes.

Why would you believe that a being that can not be proved over science which has proof. Why would you believe that common sense is believing that that is illogical rather than that that can be measured and explained and tested and shown to be correct? I feel sorry for you, You can not see the real greatness of the world and the universe and the simple fact that we are here, instead you owe it all to god did it, Isn't that making a mockery of how great life really is?

Y'know . . . last night as I watched the thunderstorms roll overhead I couldn't help but shout "Hail Thor!" and reflect on how the example of his might and courage and indomitable spirit inspires me to be strong and brave. Then today, with the sun shining and a soft breeze helping keep the heat down, I marveled at the fertility and abundance of this green and fecund world, and thanked Freyr for the food on my table and the crops in the fields, and Sunna for the warm sunlight on my face . . .

. . . yes, I'm completely serious. And my godhs are older than yours. The difference is, I didn't feel the need to come on here and call other people stupid for not believing in them.

"How can people really be so dumb and closed minded to think that there is no God. "

Well, if you haven't noticed it was the position of people like Albert Einstein, and Isaac Asimov, there's not much I can do to help you realise that it's not *necessarily* a stupid thing to think.

I'll just take one phrase of yours:
" ...this world perfect for us to live in..."

And suggest you open your eyes, or wake
up and smell the parasitic barnacles....
The tongue-eating monsters...

"I cannot persuade myself that a beneficent and omnipotent God would have designedly created parasitic wasps with the express intention of their feeding within the living bodies of Caterpillars. " Charles Darwin

Oh, and in this world, perfect by your account, God deliberately made childbirth very painful for women. (Genesis 3:16)

I could just as easily say that conditions on Earth are just perfect for a giant rabbit to hide multi colored eggs on the night before Easter. Thereby, proving, without a doubt, that the Easter Bunny MUST exist...there's just no reason for him NOT to.

I could just as easily say that conditions on Earth are just perfect for a fat man in a red suit, driving a sleigh pulled by 8 tiny reindeer, the leader with a bright red nose, to deliver presents to all the good girls and boys on the night of Dec. 24th. Thereby proving, without a doubt, that Santa Claus MUST exist....there's just no reason for him NOT to...

See how silly your logic is?????

I agree with you. When you look at these beautiful creations here on earth and in space, you have to realize that a supernatural power created everything. There has to be a God. It's just that many people disagree on who God really is. In my opinion, it's Allah (swt). Some will think differently.

If you tell a lie long enough pretty soon people will believe you. The same goes for evolution...it has been told as the truth for so long that now when real SCIENCE proves it could NEVER happen, people are soooo blinded that they just don't get it.

Case in point...The LAW of Biogenesis...This has been scientifically proven time and time again but yet evolutionists still claim that molecules to man happened.

uggghhhh!! I get sooo tired of being called brainwashed by those who really ARE!!!!!

The Bible says that creation proves the Creator and all we have to do is look around and CONGRATULATIONS to you for being able to see that =)

Rachel, you see the world and say your god made it. Other religions see the world and say their gods made it. Some of us see the world and see the result of scientific principles in action.

I see nothing in this world that says it was -your- god and not someone else's, or no god at all.

I just see the world and my connection with it.

Why do you insist those who do not see what you see are corrupting the world?

It is not that people "can't" or "don't" believe, they don't want to. I do believe many people have a misconception about God that His laws are very restricting, but on the contrary they are very freeing. It is easy to turn to science and accept what they say rather than accept God's perfect plan. People want to live by what feels good or what they want to do rather than what they should do. They forget that there are more "do's" in the Bible rather than "don'ts". Like children to an earthly parent, people want to disobey their Heavenly father. We are all born with a sinful nature, it is only after we accept the love of Christ that we can finally see the truth.
