Okay well. When I was eleven I got a temporary plum dye in my hair, then when I was twelve I got blonde streaks, now I'm thirteen I dye my hair regularly, to cover the old blonde. I dye it medium brown. I also started getting my hair styled, layered and thinned when I was twelve. I started waxing my eyebrows and shaving my legs at twelve. I started to wear foundation, blusher, eyeliner, eyeshadow and lipgloss when I was twelve. I live in Ireland and all girls here are VERY grown up for their age, appearance and attitude wise. I have developed really fast, more than most girls in my class at school. I wear tight tops and skinny jeans and such, but I have a nice figure so why not show it off? :] I got a padded bra when I was eleven/twelve, and its not just the appearance that makes me seem older, I'm very mature [[I DO know how to have fun too :)]] and people usually mistake me for much older than my age. Sometimes even 17. But this is normal for girls of my age.

Well I don't dye it that regularly. A few times this year maybe. Dye lasts quite well in my hair.

I would just like to inform the certain person who referred to me as ''skanky.'' I don't consider fitted tops and skinny jeans as skanky. and like I said I don't dye my hair that often. Maybe three times in a year to keep the colour. And I am happy with the way I look, I just take pride in my apperance and like to look good. Jesus christ whats wrong with that? =/

No, you are normal. I started doing all that when I was wayy younger. This is the normal; not something unusual.

I have to say yes, I'm 22 and have not done all that. I did so some of it though when I was young like you, but I have to admit it made being 18 then 21 not so exciting. We should all do things at times when they're appropriate so that each stage of life is new and exciting. Dont attempt to blend into the crowd by doing what everyone else does. Stand out, do what YOU think is right for a 12/13 year old girl. You don't need strangers on the internet judging you.

You are definitely way too young to be doing anything beyond coloring your hair. One day some guy really is going to mistake you for that 17-year-old and both of you will get into seriously deep trouble. And despite what you think, you AREN'T mature enough at this point in your life period, regardless of what others are doing around you. Looking nice and looking "older" are completely different things. Dress your age. Enjoy your youth and don't be in such a hurry to grow up. It'll come soon enough when you're ready to handle it emotionally. Okay end of lecture and go have some fun!

All I have to say is this. We women are caught in a trap of our own making. We spend the latter part of our prepubescent years and all during puberty trying to make us look older than we are. Then we spend the remaining three quarters of our life trying to turn back time and look younger. I had a fun childhood and was still climbing trees at 15, never got any makeup or high heels until I was 19. Now, at 44 I still have no wrinkles and great skin. Attitude, good skin care and proper nutrition do the rest. And no, I do not lie about my age, people do not believe me anyway.

i think that if u put makeup at such a young age that when u get to an older age your face can get really rickley and can make u look a lot older than ur real age. and also if u dye ur hair at such a young age u can get white hairs at an earlier age and ur hair can get really damaged. and also showing a little too much of ur figure can give the guy the wrong impression

i have dyed my hair patially chestnut-color when i was 9, i got 2 blond streaks in the front of my hair at 10, then i dyed them blue, then hot pink. then i got more blongd streaks in my hair later. i dyed one purple once. i'm about to get some light pink streaks. i sometimes wear lipgloss, i wear a padded bra and i DO show off my hot figure 2. i don't like wearing makup(besides lipgloss and cover-up) but some girls my age like 2. ur perfectly normal! as long as ur not being TOO grown-up-looking cuz u can have guys like you, but 4 the wrong reason. i am 12

Playing with hair, makeup, etc. is normal. Please, don't take it too far--I mean it. Don't have sex before you are ready just because you look older and some guy wants to use you, whether he says he loves you or not. Worse yet, don't get raped because of your 'showing off', which maybe attracts the wrong attention. In other words, think of yourself and respect yourself, respect your future. Enjoy the age that you are. There's time yet to do a lot more, don't rush into things or let others rush you into things. Be yourself first.
Lots of luck and live a good life!

You might want to lay off the make up, just a little bit. It could ruin your skin. So could the dyeing (hair, not your skin). as for the tops and skinny jeans, your entitled to your own style. There's nothing wrong with showing off a nice body (in moderation!!). Just remember, sometimes normal isn't the best thing. Try having your own style. It actually might increase your independence level. You can do whatever you want, like I said, in moderation.

why do you want to worry about the other girls who you think are matured in whatever?waxing and shaving i started when i was ten so dont feel bad but i dont wear that much make up and i'm older than you,if somone is calling you a skank your wearing to much.try different lighter colors.if you have a nice figure you should show it off but wearing tight cloths isnt the way wearing normal cloths and making them look hot is a better way to show how nice your figure is anyone can make a skanky shirt and tigh tight pants look sexy but it takes somone realy beatifull to make a cute shirt and some nice pants or a normal shirt and some normal pants look hot+this way when somone wants to mouth off you can truly defend your self, also i doubt youve had sex many many many times and that s a hoe let your retarted a*ss friend know that.good luck

I wouldnt say that you arent too young to be doing all that stuff but now you're 13 so you're a teenager and thats when they start to experiment with looking more mature and presentable. Its totally normal for girls to do that, I didnt though, I grew up in a small town and didnt like anyone there. So I'd say keep doing as your doing and you'll get the attention you want and then again you'll get attention you dont want. If your parents dont object to it, then do it. Have fun while you're at that edge, its gonna fly by...LOL
