until he finally got bored with them, booted them out and moved to Rome, how can Christians trust this guy at all?

I mean, being an immortal, he'll get bored with you eventually.

And he does seem kind of fickle.

Do you think your incessant praising, groveling and boot licking will keep him interested?

I think any self respecting God would get tired of that eventually.

dze, sure.

And what's a little habitual genocide among friends, right?

Is that the gentle persuasive voice Christians talk about?

It sounds like you have your facts a little wrong. God only promissed Israel to his people as long as they were righteous. So it was never an unconditional blessing. He didn't get all bored and boot them. Instead they stopped following him and he stopped protecting like he pormised. He did promise he would bring them back eventually.

As for moving to Rome, he didn't move it was his followers.

I think the good Father here will win as many people as loose. You Christians cannot win a debate when the very book of shadows from which he quotes from is flawed. Some Christians say that the old testament is meaningless after the new covenant of christ. You can keep making excuses but I get educated seeing questions like this!

Ok Guido, sounds like U've been in the "Sacramental Wine" again, Yes??? Again with reading the Bible!!! U know we here will soon lose Respect for U if U keep it up!!! U know what could happen if U actually put together a reading spree, of just 2 verses in a row?????? Life as u know it would END!!! U better sober up by taking some "Wafers" to soak up the "Wine". Once sober, go to Confession, & I won't rat U to the "Pope"!!! John

God divorced the Abrahamites. He'll eventually divorce the Christians and look for somebody more interesting to play with. Maybe he'll leave Rome and move to Salt Lake.

Read in the book of Isaiah that God doesn't think like us and we do not think like Him. So I guess what you think isn't an issue with what God is capable of accomplishing! And further more in the book of Deuteronomy The LORD tells the Israelites that there are stipulations to their getting to keep living in Canaan - to obey His laws. And since they disobeyed God's laws and worshiped other gods and did horrific things in the sight of God, they were expelled out of the land that God gave them as an inheritance.
-------
Deut 4:1 "And now, Israel, listen carefully to these laws and regulations that I am about to teach you. Obey them so that you may live, so you may enter and occupy the land the LORD, the God of your ancestors, is giving you.
-----
Isa 55:8 "My thoughts are completely different from yours," says the LORD. "And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine."
------
Ge 48:4 He said to me, 'I will make you a multitude of nations, and I will give this land of Canaan to you and your descendants as an everlasting possession.

God Bless You

He loved the descendants of Abraham enough to sacrifice Himself for them. He followed that up by generously offering the benefits of that sacrifice to the gentiles, which He certainly had no cause to do. Whats not to trust?

The rest of your question is utter nonsense (He moved to Rome??) and proves you're more interested in bashing Christianity than actually debating anything.

Have a great day anyway!

Gods blessing depends on our adherance to his covenant. You break it, you lose. You fullfill it, you win. Any Q's?
