I'd plug my ears. Seriously, I have nothing against people who choose to not eat meat, but I choose to eat meat. I don't believe in the inhumane way that animals are slaughtered at some of these slaughterhouses (I stopped eating at KFC when I saw that tape of the workers jumping on the chickens ad beating them against the walls). There are better ways of killing the animals to minimize their pain.

I would feel bad for the fruits that get peeled. Like carrots and oranges. It would almost be like getting scalped. Ha ha.

Well, obviously people are not going to stop eating. Most vegetarians are true to themselves and don't try to impose their beliefs on others. I personally don't care who eats meat and who doesn't. I also don't care who eats fruit and who doesn't! Just be true to your own beliefs.
