i am in the process of converting to islam, my best friend is muslim...and i want to tell her but dont know how.... im worried

If you are whole heartedly converting you should be shouting from the roof tops because of your new found faith.

Trust me, I think any true Muslim loves it when others convert. Don't be worried, I'm sure she wouldn't go mad, since she's your best friend, hopefully she'll help you reach your goals.

Stop now and think what your doing, why do you want to convert, I'm not saying not to, but there must be doubt in your faith if you are worried about what your girlfriend will say, and remember converting is one thing keeping it going and giving up the freedom you have is another

you could use your vocabulary and open your mouth,, the words may come out. " Hey Guess What? Im converting to Islam"
If thats all thats worrying you, and if she is your best friend she will accept you for what or whome you are.
May the Force be with you.. I converted to Jedi.Its great.But this voice keeps talking to me, and my best mate is a 8 foot tall monkey.

Tell ur friend, I'm sure she will be really pleased and she will even help you to convert and teach you about Islam. Explain to her that you are serious about it, she will not think anything negative.

Just tell her the truth. I really can't see anyone getting mad because you believe the same things they do. If she was a part of the reason you decided to convert, tell her so.

just tell her...i've been thinking a lot lately about....
or send her an email about that---you'll probably be receiving a phone call once she reads it
about her not taking you seriously -- don't worry about it
to this day i still meet muslims ( & they are mostly arab muslims) who question me ( unfortunately) no matter what I do...why you pick islam? why you not change ur name? oh you don't speak arabic? blah blah blah
astagfirullah, it's like they don't even understand how great islam is! --they have to question your intentions too
just remember you are doing this for God - don't worry about what any one else says or thinks

Tell her straight how you feel and why you want to be muslim. Your friend will help you with what you need to do and say. Just be straight with her, dont worry. Your friend will be very happy and excited for you.

if you believe in your new religion, it shouldnt matter to you what your friend thinks. If you are serious, she will see the changes in you and be with you.
