Did you know that in Islam, the actual religion and not the wannabe cultures, it is not the wife's duty to cook, clean, or even do anything she doesn't want to do? Did you know that the main purpose for marriage was to make intercourse lawful, and that even when children result she doesn't have to nurse them if she does not want to? Did you know she also has the right to demand payment for her work, including in the rearing of the children? Why do so many people like to blame the religion for it, when it's culture that is the culprit? I've studied the religion since I was 14 (I'm 23 now), and have come across what those who hate Islam have come across. It's not that I wouldn't want to nurse my child, I nursed both of them and my 15 month old son is still nursing. The point is, islamically, I can demand payment if I so wanted. I personally feel nursing is the best for a child, but that is me, I'm not all women.
