Aren't you just assuming that your "reasoning" is correct? ...And you have WHAT to back this up?
ps. I do agree with you that the Catholic religion is full of crap.

If you study the Bible you will find the answers at any age. The problem with most religions is that they teach many things contrary to the Bible and everyone, by the age of 21 if you like, have already been told that you don't need to study the Bible. They insist that the priests, preachers, etc are right. By following them blindly, you are being "brain-washed". Part of the anti-brainwashing would be to seek the answers for yourself. The Bible is written to be understood.

I didn't become a christian until I was 28, my parents weren't bothered about faith so I knew relatively little. I simply met Jesus one day, got filled by the Holy Spirit, instantly healed of depression and changed on the inside. I'm not ashamed of what I know! Maybe your problem is that you were brought up in a religion rather than to have a relationship with Jesus. It threw me completely to be faced with the reality that he is alive and wants to know me. Sorry for the experience you had.

How do you know what I or anyone else for that matter believe? I was not raised as a Christian; I became one when I was 23. To call what I believe false promises, lies and deceptions when you have never met me is at best presumptuous, and at worst it makes you a false prophet and more than a little wacky.

How very smug and egotistical.
Every one on the planet deserves the right to make the decision to believe in a God or a religion....or not to believe in anything greater than themselves....that's a right we all have from the time we are born.
As an Atheist.....I understand this.

I'm over 21 and very proud to be a Christian, the redeemed of Jesus Christ. If that means that, according to you I'm brain dead, then so be it. Id rather be "brain dead" with the promise of heaven than be an "intellectual" condemned to hell.

I disagree. People grow in their spirtuality at their own pace. You have no right to claim anyones religion is false. Or call their God false. It is their's. It is their choice. I do however have problems when they try to shove it down my throat. I also understood when I was young that my Baptist religion was flawed and when I left my parents house I searched on my own. I think you are coming off a bit closed minded and arrogant in your post. You have to let people be who they are.

Hey buddy. you are still brainwashed by those who are not Christian.
If you only knew the truth and would accept it. Then your life would be so different.
Better make a gpod and sound decision before Jesus comes again. I wouldnt want to be thinking like you when He comes.

On the flip side, how can anyone under 18 be old enough to give legal consent to be part of a religion?
