You are on a piece of rock spinning at about 1660 k/ph (faster that the speed of sound), which is travelling around the sun at about 107,000 k/ph, and all of which is travelling through space at around 770,000 k/ph. You could at any moment in time be travelling at nearly 900,000 k/ph. You cannot sense or precieve this speed. Does it mean that it's not true. Just because you cannot see and touch God dosen't mean he dosen't exist.

Yeah, but we can prove that we are moving, and we can see the effects that can only be attributed to that. (Seasonal change, star positions, etc.)

But likening that to God's existence is a complete logical fallacy; just because we can prove that we are in motion, does not mean that we have to try to prove God doesn't exist to you. The two arguements are not at all related, and you're just trying to make your non-argument and non-proof seem logical.

While human senses cannot perceive the speed at which the earth travels, our technology can. I'll tell you what...when the Hubble catches a glimpse of some white haired man in a nebula somewhere wearing a robe and a frown, then I might reconsider. Until then......

sorrry, dude, you're not going to make a convincing argument for the existence of God, nobody ever has. Only those who have been dashed against the rocks are going to reach out. Life has to humble you. I've tried and all you get for your efforts is grief. Just talk about it but don't try and sell those who aren't in the market :-)

Truth and fact are different.

I do not perceive the world spinning there for to me it doesn’t spin. Subconsciously I know the world spins because they told me in science class but since I do not perceive it as spinning then to me everything is still.

The FACT the world does spin makes no bearing on my personal truth.

Where the difference between science and religion lies, is in this logic. Religion uses faith and Science uses Fact.

God created the world because that’s what I believe and what I have faith in therefore that is true to me. It may or not be true to you.

The problem is...

People can get a concrete and absolute definition of SPEED. People are aware of it and perceive it in other settings.

Sad to say...
The same can not be said for: GOD.

If people can't get a handle on it, the tendency is to assume that it is false.

This is called "THE SCIENTIFIC METHOD."

No, just no reason to believe it. God (if it existed) is
perfectly capable of proving his existence and doesn't. Do you know why he doesn't?

Those speeds you post are measurable, your God isn't. Does Strawman ring a bell?

That is a good analogy and I agree that we do not have to feel, touch or see things to believe them.
I do understand however that some people do require that kind of sensory information.

I don't perceive the flying bunnies in here but that isn't making them real either.

We can observe and measure the speeds of the earth.

The difference is I can measure our speed.

I can't measure god.

That fact that you have those numbers prove that we can scientifically determine the veractiy of such claims.

We can't do that for god.

The thing is, we can OBSERVE this phenomenon. Just like air, just like atoms, just like gravity - we can't see it, sometimes we can't even perceive it, but we CAN observe it.

So far, there have been no observations of God. Can we now retire this beaten and rebutted "argument".
