Many people who claim to be "Christians" are not truly Christians. In other words, they have never put their faith in Christ.

These people more than likely have grown up in a church -- but that doesn't make a person a Christian. (In the same way, I do not become a mechanic simply by walking into my garage).

If a person has put their faith in Christ, but is using sex to become wealthy -- then I at least hope that they are tithing.

Okay, that last sentence was a joke. But seriously, more than likely, these individuals have never put their faith in Christ. This article explains a little more about what a Christian really is:

I didn't know beyonce claimed to be a christian. I personally think she is on her own journey I wish she had a igh enough self image to not buy into the crap that the music world promotes but that is her choice. When you become a christian you usually aren't given some type of public code of ethics so people can act however they want that's between them and God. I do have issues with people claiming that their music is christian as the base meaning for the word is christ-like and how can you read the bible and say anything that is not living is in anyway christ-like? Anyway I don't how God looks down on people who claim to be his followers and don't look perfect . Probably as he looks on all of us as his precious children who totally don't get him :)

Just because they thank God when get some award doesn't make them Christian. I'll tell you what, I'm tired of stupid atheists picking out one person who they can't even verify that they even go to church and try making a stupid example out of it. Pathetic. "many of these female popstars claim to be christians" Really? Find some and go get me some evidence. If you can't then you're full of crap just like all the others who can't back up crap with evidence.

That's not my place to judge these people; that's God's job, not mine.

Second of all, it seems as if these Christian pop stars replaced God by another "deity" called MONEY. Some people will do anything to be financially secure, even if it means selling themselves in entertainment.

Christians are human; some are good and some..well, need to know how to walk with the Lord (myself included).

Maybe "christian popstars" is not the best term. . maybe popstars with past religious affiliation would be better. We as Christians take the lifestyles that we live seriously. I don't think we condone such behaviors as beyonce or JS.

Well Beyonce, unlike Britney and Jessica, does not rape the camera on a music video and her lyrics are nothing close to explicit. Also Beyonce is active in her church and spirituality. She donated millions of dollars to her church in her hometown of Houston, Texas.

Well here's what I have to say about that... it didn't matter what Jessica Simpson was wearing and she was pretty conservative and the Religious folk got in there telling her "sorry" your boobs are too big to sing Gospel. Can you believe that??? Nice.....

So I'm sure that they had to use other avenues for thier voice but there are people of all different kinds running this world and some of them are christians unfortunately, making the rest of us look bad.

I think she or anyone who behaves this way and say is a Christian is not because if they were they would not behave like that. tell me one thing this is common sense if the bible tell us, I know you said your a atheist but just to make sense
that people that behave not in moral manner were punished
and these people say they are christians if somebody ask them a question about the bilble they would not know what to say.

i think that provided that we've been married in a church, God replaced into contemporary there and Blessed our marriage then. he's often in my coronary heart and soul in spite of i'm doing, good or undesirable. that's my have faith in Him that keeps me going in direction of greater good activities. And the older I grow to be, the greater in-track i think I grow to be with God...and the greater I learn from others and God, the greater I understand God and my sexual responsibilities and desires with my considerable different and how that's all related. Which comes complete circle proving to me that God is thoroughly on top of problems with my existence bodily, emotionally, and spiritually. God has performed a considerable section in my lovemaking/sexual existence and that i call it devine intervention.....as I certainly have helped those with issues they have, they have helped me with issues i replaced into having, no longer bodily yet emotionally and spiritually, deep interior of that i did no longer understand the thank you to repair.
