for the pics, its not like the ppls shirts said"look at me, i am armenian and the turks killed me" no i didnt thinks so. i hate all the armenian propogandas and it just makes me so mad that my ss. teacher always thinks hes right when hes not. by the way, y would my g-pa lie to me about the truth of the story. also the last step of genocide was denial, and that means when the bad ppl blame it on the victims. well my teacher has NO real facts there. has he ever thought that it was the armenians excuse 4 wat they did. i mean, my great great grandpa was a millitary commander in the ottoman empire. the armenians brainwashed everyone into thinkin they r right. so just tell me ur opinion and what u think about it. this question is open to anyone. im sry if i offended anyone, but i am just sayin the facts...

You are totally right! Armenians are the biggest liers in the world, they are shameless about this so-called genocide.
We were in war and armenians were living with turks without any problems but Russian and French soldiers provaked armenians and the armenians betrayed turks and killed them. They killed thousands of turks mostly babies and men!
So ottomans deported them to east, thats all!
while deporting some of them killed because of being sick and getting cold and they call this as a genocide,by the way the pics you saw are Turks! They are dead turk bodies that are killed by armenians!
Thanks for being openminded and telling the truths.Tell your teacher these commends. You know who are right.

You're %100 right..And do u want its reason?
You know Nazis made a genocide to Jews..So Israel took money from Germany later..So with this Armenian genocide lie, Armenians want to take money and also land (the east of Turkey) too.
You're right, it's not fair.
PS: Armenians change some photos to 'prove' their lie.For example they changed a photo of Atatürk with his dog once. They put a dead person (an Armenian) in stead of the dog.
Don't trust to the photos..And those liars..But u already don't trust.I celebrate u and ur grandpa ;-)
PS: Yeah, they're brainwashed..They think like, only their throughts are true..For example we are trying to tell our truths to brainwashed, provaker Armenians for months here but they don't listen us.I'm sure they even don't read our answers.
A suggestion: Don't wait ur teacher to see the truth..And don't often argue with him..You won't able to change anything, unfortunately.
PS: Hehe yes we are 'adaÅ' Irmak =) Hmm then we will call u as 'River' ;-) I wish that too...

One point is, almost every national state needs at least one picture of enemy. This could be another country, a terrorist group or some organization. Even the US picked on Muslims after Russia for example. For Algerians it´s French. For Israelis it´s palestinians etc. Unfortunaltely Turkey is on top of the List for many small countries like Greece, Serbia, Malta and of course now Armenia (after becoming a national state) and even Iraq. Turkey has never lowered itself down to commiting genocide , not even against the Greeks, who commited major war crimes during their occupation of western Anatolia. As the ottoman empire fell apart, many nations became independent or at least made an attempt to become independent. The whole empire was surrounded by fire. Every single nation who once happily lived under the turkish rule raised up against it. There was no reason for Turks to pick on one small nation and wipe them out of history. Turks have never seen Armeniens as a threat or even as enemy of another lower degree. In fact a lot of Armenians were politicians and officers in the ottoman state system.
Even today there are Schools and Churches of Armenians in Turkey.
But during the war the Russians and their western ally France supported the Armenians to uprise against the Turks. (For that very reason a lot of Armenians immigrated to France and Russia after the first W.W.) The Armenian gangs massacred Turks in the eastern provinces and hoped to cleanse the area of Turks to establish an armenian state after the War. Just like the Allies had promised the Greeks to establish a greek state on the Western part of Turkey.
So the turkish army (still during the first W.W.) deported them to the south towards Syria and Iraq, which were then still Turkish. This was also done to prevent Russia and France from reorganizing the rebels. The Turkish Army simply wanted his back to be free. It didn´t matter to them whether they were Armenians, Kurds or Russians. It was simply a step within the course of a war without the intention of a massacer. Most of the Armenians died of hunger and were indeed massacred by kurdish tribes, which didn´t like them to begin with.
Why of all the enemies the ottoman empire had, should the Armenians be chosen to be massacred and that with the purpose of ethnic cleansing? Why would an empire that was once a super power and reigned over numerous nations, bother to pick on one of her folks to commit genocide, which she never had done through her history of almost 600 years?
And why would they deport them to an area that was still part of the empire, if they really wanted to get rid of them?
A genocide has to be planned. Even Hitler had planned his genocide against certain folks before hand.
There is and was no single document, fact or even a sign that a genocide was planned against the Armenians.
Also as a piece of Land the very eastern part of Turkey is almost not inhabitable. It´s extremely cold, mountainous and almost nothing grows there. So it was highly unlikely that some ultra bright turkish governor had decided to move mainland Turks to the east as their new home and therefore the Armenians would have to go.
You see there´s no theory and fact that can support the Armenian allegations. Armenian politicians and diaspora need this case to keep their identitiy, more than the money that they could get out of a court case. There are too many Armenians in their diaspora in the US and France who would otherwise long ago become assimilated if they didn´t keep their generations fed by these fairytales.
Mind you, I think it helps Turks to stick together to know the fact that so many little countries from the christian club have been keeping their anemosities against them.
Turkey will prevail.

You're story was very interesting. Most people who write about the genocide don't write it as nicely as you put it. I think you should have told your S.S. teacher that he shouldn't teach the class an opinion that is his. The Armenian Genocide is an undecided fact that "supposedly" happened. It isn't right for a teacher to say that it is a legitimate event that occurred, when there is no reliable evidence. I would also agree with your gpa about his experience.
