Maybe we like a little diversity. Eighty-five percent of illegals are from there, and we accept more legal immigrants from Mexico than any other country. Can we only prove a lack of prejudice by letting them all in? Also did you know that we only have two classifications of illegals? Mexicans and OTM's (other than Mexican). Mexicans are given preferential treatment.

Why are Mexicans against immigration from countries south of their border? Why are their immigration laws so strict? Why do they want what they are not willing to give?

Granny is right. The current situation was well planned, and is leading to the North American Union.

I guess my answer wasn't PC enough for some of you. But the question did ask specifically about Mexicans, so I responded in kind. I know that illegals are from many places, but no other country's people get the special privileges that they do from our government. I don't think it's fair. And I don't think many of you realize where this is leading. Too many people see this as a racial issue.

Some politician made a deal with another, to open our borders instead of protecting them,all of this is being done without voter or congressional approval; all of our good paying jobs are going overseas, Check out the New World Order and the SPP on youtube. Educate yourself, as the mainstream media is controlled and the general population doesn't realize what is actually going on. The point is, you need to listen to republic broadcasting dot org, click on the "listen" button check out prison planet dot com, and infowars dot com. The general population doesn't realize they are being used. Sometimes you have to go outside the country to realize what is going on in this one. The illegals are collecting the social security that we have busted our back to pay into. They go into a hospital, get treated, & don't pay their bill. They get assistance from the state and free lunches at the schools because their income falls below poverty lines, and who pays for it??? YOU & I do. They are coming over in droves, this country is going to hell in a hand basket. The government is corrupt, & half our guys that are in Iraq are there under false pretenses. Listen up! Decide for yourself. For everyone that keeps silent, it makes it that much more difficult for those of us that aren't afraid of the truth. Keep on the first admendment.

they are against illegal immigration- there is a difference.a big difference illegal immigrants by nature are criminals,they have broken our laws to come into our country illegally.then they take up housing,and jobs put their kids in our schools which they do not pay to operate because they dont pay taxes.if they do they have stolen social security numbers which is fraud.they breed like rabbits so our government can take care of their kids welfare,food stamps,medicaid.all these things they are not entitled to because they are not AMERICAN citizens.i think if you broke our laws to be here you and your entire family should be deported and never be allowed to become legal citizens or even visit this country! if you are illegal and give birth here your kids should not be citizens because you are not a citizen and our country should not be responsible for you,your kids or your problems! go back to MEXICO or wherever you came from and make it work there.we really are sick of taking care of the world and people who despise us and our traditions and customs.there is no need for us to change to accommodate you - you do not deserve it and you have not earned it! criminals do not deserve special treatment plain and simple!go home and stay there!if you don't see the validity of this you must be an illegal yourself or brain dead!

People aren't against Mexican immigration (at least those with no prejudice), they are against illegal immigration, from anywhere, not just Mexico.

It is not Mexican immigration people are screaming about.
It is ILLEGAL immigration which just happens to be one of the more popular methods of entry into the United States by citizens of Mexico.
By illegal, I mean without a passport,visa, or documentation of any kind- that means without stopping at the border and saying HI
By illegal I mean against the law.

Some people have to blame someone for their problems, like not finding a good job, not being able to pay their health insurance etc., and it is only that group that is complaining the most. I believe that everyone has a right to make their life better and due to great economic disparities ( at the minimum unskilled wage level) between the U.S and Mexico, people will continue to migrate to seek a better life. I have no idea where some people get the statistics about hispanics to back up their argument, they are so far from the truth and very ignorant, I am just glad they are not running the country. I liked the comment about early immigrants being illegal but white - that surely was okay. Please don't blame your shortcomings on others, thanks.

ILLEGAL immigration. Why welcome anyone who breaks the law upon entering the country.

Also consider what will happen if amnesty is given to the missions of ILLEGAL immigeants in this country: Kiss social security goodby. Millions of people who have never paid a dime into Social Security will be allowed to file claims on it.

People are against uncontrolled immigration. It does not make sense to alllow just anyone in. If we did that everyone that is poor in the world would come her just to be able to collect welfare and our welfare system would collapse.

We should insist that immagrates can contribute to our society.
