That's exactly what I thought when I read your question- How sad it is that people haven't a clue and are having their eyes closed to the truth.......
I guess some people check their brains at the church doors,

Science is always evolving because it examines and re-examines itself given information that supports or rejects hypotheses/theories. Western religions do not evolve because they are convinced they already have the answer despite the lack of ANY CONVINCING EVIDENCE.
Gravity and magnetism CAN be explained, but I guess you haven't done enough research. Yes, science is in its infancy and always will be, since there is no end to the knowledge that can be obtained. But at least science is trying. You're sitting around in ignorant contentment, criticizing others when you lack facts and can't even get the real facts straight. Just because something proposed in science is later rejected doesn't mean the process is illegitimate. Don't you ever use trial and error in life? Don't you ever look for evidence? Don't you ever realize you were wrong about something?
Honestly... get a clue.

Whose truth? My sensibilities have been open to the truth from the time I could conceptualize. The theory of god, the trinity, the bible, and all fables that followed in progression, are just that. Hypothesis. Revisionist history has been presented to a global population for centuries. If one carefully evaluates the data presented to christians, jews, and muslims, it becomes obvious that this data is the contribution from males, which glorify and reinforce the superiority of males. Now ain't that novel.
I have NEVER accepted the concept of creation as presented in the bible, the torah, and the quram. I have know since childhood it is just a fable.
Science may be in it's infancy, however, it has, at least, creditable evidence for it's supposition. There is no creditable evidence that supports the events that are presented to anyone who choses to believe them as they are presented in the bible.
I believe that jesus is the son of mary and joseph, but has no divine origien. I believe that jesus was crucified by the romans because of political pressure exerted on pontias pilot, and was not the act of a jewsish decision. I do believe that jesus arrose from the dead, to take a seat next to this fabled god.
I believe that jesus was wise, a pacifist who supported individual introspection that resulted in understanding the dynamics which influenced each individual's philosophical model.
My heart has been open to the truth since I've been able to make decisions based reality. How about y'all?

Magnetism has already been explained by science. They are still working on gravity.
"Theory" has special meaning in science that does not occur in common language usage, so saying something is "mostly theory" has no meaning here.
Modern science has been around since Galileo wrote "The Discourse"... in the early 1600's... around 400 years ago.
Science is always in the process of attempting to correct any errors it has made. It is unmerciful in this attribute of what it is. If something is proven wrong, it is abandoned forever. That is part of the reason it is called "science". You show a profound lack of knowledge about what science is, and is not.
Your "question" is full of misleading statements. I think it is you who are lying to yourself.

There is a void between matter and spirit. Being exact opposite of each, the spirit embraces what it is not, therefore matter is given life( a mutation between the non-living thing and living thing). First off, the effect of spirit attraction to matter creates a symptoms one of which is gravity. A gravitational pull forms the universe we come to know and live. Secondly, the complexities of the spirit activities is extended to living structures and has evolved into a very sophisticated human form. Human gains awareness, thinks and find answers. Ultimately, the goal of the spirit is permanent attachment to material energy such as in Resurrection and ascension. Otherwise, impurities(karma) bring back the spirit to the lowest plane of existence( reincarnation) again and again.
Wild thoughts only. Meant not to be taken as correct. More fictional.

Both can be explained by science. The power source for gravity is massive weight. Just because you can not understand science does not mean it cant be explained. Go to school and take a science class! It's pretty sad that you close your eyes to the truth because you only have a 4th. grade education. Modern science is pretty old, Have you heard of Galileo? Copernicus? Newton?

So we should abandon all efforts to teach science, right? So your truth can cure cancer? And stop global warming?
Your computer is a product of science, as is your TV, your car, your iPod. So are X-ray machines, anti-biotics, birth control and the lightbulb.
We should never stop asking questions and assume that we already know the truth. And BTW, a scientific theory is based on evidence, it is observable phenomenon with an explanation that has been tested repeatedly.

With the misinformation, ignorance, denial and lies that you spew forth, I would consider you a decieving, vindictive, slime ball with an agenda..
You have said nothing other than demonise and misrepresent mainstream science. What is your point..?
Does this somehow prove the existance of your magic sky fairy?
Time you got an education fella.
Just stay away from children..!

The fact is science is very primitive. Its great for learning about nature or inventing things like computers, but its REALLY lousy at leading people to Christ and salvation.
One of the greatest quotes from a scientist that I have ever heard went something like this, "I never learned one moral science experiment."
