Okay so your relationship is going really awful. An old friend, guy of course, wants to see you for the weekend, do you go??

Just the call alone has me happier.

Maybe you should break up your awful relationship and not feel guilty about being tempted and be happy with this new "old" guy.

I would consider it. You aren't being treated the way you want to be treated, so you should handle the situation you're in now and then see what this old friend is all about. He might just be interested in a weekend fling but even if that's the case, after you have this fling you will still have to go back to this awful relationship. Life is too short to be miserable. You have got to decide when you are ready to be happy and make the neccesary adjustments. All the best.

GO FOR IT!!! I mean, sometimes an old friend, even a guy, has some tips on how to help, that is, if you want to stick to your boyfriend. Personal experience though, can go either the way that I just said, or it can go the other way, you BF can get jealous, and break up with you because of it. But if that guy (your old friend that called you) is still your friend, I'd say he is a true friend, and a real friend can sense when you need a cheer-up.

Only go if you want to doom your current relationship. If you are in a relationship, it doesn't matter if it's great or bad, you don't cheat. If you're very, very tempted to see the old friend, break off your current relationship and then go see him.

Cheating can't help your current relationship, but it can end it - and hurt someone very deeply. Have enough respect for your current boyfriend to either not cheat, or break up with him. You'll really be doing yourself a favor in the long run.

Good luck!

Maybe you need to end the relationship you have. If youre really tempted to go meet an old guy friend for the weekend, then you probably dont have feelings for your boyfriend anymore.

First, you want to make sure what you are looking for in this encounter.

If you want to pursue this old friend, you would at least want to let your current partner know. A person would rather hear you out before you do anything, so that they can try to correct what has gone on, or at least understand you position.

If you are not looking to pursue this individual, then talk to your current guy, and let them know that you are wanting to hang out with an old friend.

Either way I think that you need to talk to your current man. If he is not taking care of your needs, then it is time to take the show on the road and find someone that does. Life is too short to be unhappy.

You just have to decide what you want the most. If you want to make your current relationship work, you take the smile you got from the call, but don't go. If you are ready to bag that relationship and could use the companionship, ego boost, and comfortable friendship, then you go. The consequences are obvious, just break it down to what you really want and act accordingly.

Yup, I would go. I think that both people in a relationship should have friends of the opposite sex that they can chill with from time to time (I would never tell this to my husband, though!) It makes it easier to relate the stress/problems that you are having in your relationship with someone who seems to be on the same page as your significant other. As long as you don't cross the line, then go and have fun.

Just go with your friend, it doesn't mean you are exactly going on a DATE. And, if your relationship is being horrible, and your old friend seems decent enough to be your man, then dump ur bf and go 4 the other guy! =)
