Mainly because of schedule conflicts. Drivers would hate to miss a chance like this to just hang out with each other and have some fun in a race that doesn't count in the standings.

Not positive but I would put my money on Budweiser not letting him run.. or he had prior agreements to do something else. Again, My $ is on Budweiser crackin' that leash on his back saying "NO"

Either because he was afraid to run on dirt, or the fact that he sucks when you compare him with his competition. Besides that, he probably couldn't find Ohio without Daddy's help.
