There will be no peace if it is split. And then the END SHALL COME. Zechariah 14 & 12

1 Behold, the day of the Lord is coming, And your spoil will be divided in your midst. 2 For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; The city shall be taken, The houses rifled, And the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity, But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3 Then the Lord will go forth And fight against those nations, As He fights in the day of battle. 4 And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, From east to west, Making a very large valley; Half of the mountain shall move toward the north And half of it toward the south. 10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced,

I'm hoping for humanity to stop being arrogant and egotistical, dualistic and unkind. I'm hoping humanity will learn wisdom, altruism and compassion. I'm not expecting much in the way of results though. I know humanity gets a kick out of the "us vs. them" mentality, since it's so much a part of life where you work hard to be happy and protect your ego. Trouble is, that ego that many work so darn hard to protect, is empty of inherent existence. Simply put, we're all interconnected... altruism is the MOST logical answer to date. You got a better idea, then get busy, until then I'm sticking to my "guns" of: wisdom, altruism, compassion.

In any event, most people throughout the world favor a separate state for the Palestinians; I would prefer to see Jerusalem itself under direct international administration. In any event it is a political not a theological issue.
