Of people from different religions criticizing everyone else; and it's not just one specific religious groups, but most treat other people for having different beliefs and ideals like they are ignorant and doing the world harm. Whats wrong with having faith or not having faith? Having a choose in who you worship and how you worship? I'm Christian, but I feel betrayed to read what other christians say to people who are of a different religion, and to the other denominations of Christianity, or to any one who who isn't what they believe to be a "true christian" is.

Somethingfishy…why do I have to choose God over ideals or vice versa…why can’t I believe in God yet still be able to have an open mind to the world and how others live in it…what do I stand for…having an open mind…I would rather be open to learning as much as possible than limited to one subject…why live my life shoving one idea down everyone else’s throat (especially when they don’t want it any way) when I can learn what others have to offer…I believe in God, what he has given, what he has taken (especially what he has taken)…what type of Christian am i…why do I have to choose a denomination when half the time one is trying prove the other wrong…its no way to carry on with your life…so ill stick to with my ideals and open mindedness…keep my faith and live my life without being bombarded by the stupidity of those who are close minded…which comes back to why im fed up…

Hi, I think the word youre looking for is "fed-up"

I'm feedup of people saying harmful things to one another because of religion or political views. Granted thats our freedom of speech that lets individuals speak their minds sort-of say but, if thats the case. they should make damn sure they know their subjects completely instead of sounding like fools.

Case in point. Gay marriage. Theres always some religious aficionados stating the fact that the bible states a marriage should be between a man and a woman. Great, but, what about the FACT os religion and state should not mix? Are we runing our government based solely on the bible? thats kinda unfair for the rest of the population who dont read, or follow the bible.
I have no agendas versus my chrisitan beliefs, but I do have a problem with people trying to push their agendas on others. That's called DICTATORSHIP... Thats not the America we have built so far. Freedom to choose, but choose healthy, wisely and with no damage to property of others please. thanks!

"What's wrong with having faith?" Nothing. Just like there's nothing really "wrong" with believing in unicorns. But if all the unicorn-believers coalesced and started working on initiatives to ensure that the existence of unicorns is taught in public school biology, I'd have a bit of a problem with that.

The problem is that religion speaks in the language of absolutes; so "religious" people forget that their freedom to worship as they choose in our society is based on everybody else's freedom of worship. They simply believe that they've got it "right," so it can't be wrong to force it on everybody else.

Religion is based on faith, which means believers have insufficient evidence to prove their claims.

In other words, faith is ignorance in an egotistical dress, so when you challenge someone's faith, you hurt their ego - and they take it personally.

Most of us would not care if you chose faith nor what you had faith in, IF ONLY you (as in your religion, perhaps not you personally) would stop a.) forcing/coercing others to participate in your religious nonsense, as in public prayers and pledges and other public expressions, and b.) stop claiming special treatment because of your beliefs, as in tax exemptions for church property and income and privileges like "clergy" parking.

Pray, babble, do whatever you want without involving me; pay your own way and don't expect special treatment, and we'll get along fine!

Yes, I agree, what ever is good for you, is good for you, If you need my help, just ask, if I need yours, I know where to find you. Religion should be a more private thing, I feel, so all of this has really gotten out of control with the wars and converting and baptisms, it's making a mockery out of a very private thing.

What exactly do you stand for? God or idealism. Sounds like you don't know what you believe yourself. Stand up for what you believe in. Have a solid foundation, that way you don't get deceived in what your own question is. What do you stand for? What exactly do you believe? What kind of christian are you? You will never debate anybody to God. It takes a power encounter, think about it.

Yes I'm tired. I'm guilty of it too. I'm an Agnostic and I get annoyed with certain Christians at times. I try to be fair but I'm sick and tired of people witnessing to me, tired of people telling my friends they're going to burn in hell for any number of reasons from being gay to being Jewish.

I honestly don't care what people want to believe... I just wish relgious people would leave me alone in regards to trying to save my soul and I also wish they would quit being hateful towards certain groups.

Criticism, from my perspective and perception, is simply another condition of humanity and it doesn't bother me in the slightest, but then I've removed a lot of the buttons that people used to successfully push on me via Buddhist studies. No biggie anymore.

It's sad to see supposed Christians criticize others when Christians are taught to love one another. Plus, we're taught not to judge (Matthew 7:1) others.

religion, any and all religion, is a tool, invented by men to control masses of other men. If more people practised simple FAITH, this would be a much better, less judgemental world indeed.
