me and my boyfriend are in an arguement. we have been getting in arguements a lot lately over misunderstandings/stupid stuff. i'm sick of being the one that always calls him and tries to fix everything up. this time i'm leaving it up to him to try and fix things. it's been 4 days without talking. are guys really too stubbern to want to resolve arguements with their girlfriends?

Yup, all guys are like that. End of discussion...

Not all guys are like that of course. But depending upon how many arguments you have had, and how many "you" have patched up by calling, may be why he is not calling you.

You set a pattern and he is used to it. So whenever you argue, he "knows" you will call. This is a dangerous precident, because he now thinks you will do all of the calling and he doesnt have to worry.

You need to let him cool his heels a bit. Make him go a week or 2 without conversation. (or something else if there has been any) and see if he doesnt come around. If he still does not call you, then you should look for someone else, because he will not change his ways, and any continued relationship will be downhill from there.

Good luck.

No, we normally resolve any issue within the day together or I end up calling her. Then again that may be because I love her. I couldn't stand for her to be mad at me for more then a day, and I certainlyt wouldn't want to wait four nights.

haha, no they are not always the ones too stubborn. I dated a girl for 2.5 years and it was usually me admiting my faults and trying to fix things. In fact, thats one of the best things a guy should learn in a relationship, to admit when your wrong and try and fix things, he's being immature. Honestly, it doesn't matter who is right or who is wrong, if u guys care about eachother, you'll admit your faults and fix things

No, not all guys are like that.

If he doesn't want to make the first move to talk to you after 4 long days, then I'd say he's as stubborn as a mule.

well i'm sorry to say that most of them are. sometimes i feel that they just don't care as much as we do. they seem to have less problem with emotional chaos. it is a good thing that yoy didn't call him because you need to see if he cares. probably he will call you, but he will talk about different things, they just don't go staight to the subject and they never say sorry but when he calls you should know that he wants peace but he just can't say it, you will have to read between the lines.

Guys don't want to have to argue with chicks about stuff. It's one of the main reasons they avoid relationships.

He might not want to patch things up. If you guys fight all of the time it might be the best thing just to break-up.

It's not about being stubborn. It's about if he thinks its worth the effort or not. Guys hate drama.
