No. They need a real bill that doesn't include amnesty.

HECK NO! I don't want America to go bankrupt!

The media, and Congress, are liars when they say Americans want this piece of crap! New Rasmussen poll (unbiased and the 3rd in a couple of weeks) came out. In a telephone poll that asked if the person was for or against the immigration bill, 50% said no and only 20% said yes. Similar results were on the previous polls.

The poll also asked which would be better - the bill or doing nothing. The MAJORITY said doing nothing was better!

Why can't the weasals in Congress listen to their "employers?" We sent them to do a job and they aren't listening to us. They should be fired! Any presidential candidate that is pro-amnesty should never get your vote!

No. I want the laws that exist on the books to day to be enforced.
If S1348 passes the Z-Visa is nothing more then Amnesty of these law breakers and it an affront to the rule of law in this country.

We need to ENFORCE the laws that exist. Simple. Just do it!!

Don't give me the crap about "people wanting a better life" they knowingly violated laws and are in this country illegally some of whom are criminals or are carrying diseases and some who want to cause of great harm. If we don't stop it and turn back the horde this country will be in anarchy in 20 years.
One provision that was removed from the bill would have disallowed criminals, gang members and predators from getting legal status, this was shot down today in congress. Our government needs to truly assess the direction it is leading us in. I don't like it one damned iota.

yes, we can deport 12+ million and should, also we need to fine or jail employers who violate hiring laws.

--Edit
in addressing one of the earlier posts, if you don't know the content of the legislation you aren't paying much attention.

I've been reading through the 790 pages of original BS by Benedict Arnold Reid and Trotsy John McCain, and have been following each proposal very carefully, it is an economic disaster for this country. If it's not stopped the sucking sound made by Ross Perot in 1992 will may it sound like a freighttrain over a bathtub drain.

I know of several small cities in the plains states that over the last decade have began to change from mainstream mid-america to looking like a town in Chihuahua.

It's time to send em' packing, and put the Congress on the same damned bus south.

IMMIGRATION REFORM BILL MUST NOT PASS INTO LAW EVER!!!

Keep the pressure on.....WRITE / CALL
www.congress.org

THINK ABOUT THIS AND ASK YOUR REPS ABOUT IT???

By the numbers if this bill passes:

12 million illegals will get amnesty AND so will extended family members ...sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles etc. in Mexico to come here.
Say there are only 5 in the extended family of each illegal here now [WE KNOW THERE ARE MANY MORE THAN 5] .... that totals to 60 million more who can come here, granted amnesty and ultimate citizenship.

NO ONE IS ANSWERING THIS QUESTION:
How will they enforce this law???

Pressure starting to work....read this:
Immigration Bill in Doubt After Vote

and this....

By a vote of 33-63, the Senate fell far short of the 60 votes that would have been needed to limit debate on the immigration measure and put it on a path to passage. Republicans—even those who helped craft the measure and are ultimately expected to support it—banded together to oppose that move, while a majority of Democrats backed it. Fifteen Democrats and Independent Sen. Bernard Sanders of Vermont, who is usually allied with their party, voted "no." http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=...

DON'T BACK DOWN....KEEP THE PRESSURE GOING!! NO AMNESTY EVER...."FEDS" now!!

Fence build entire length

Enforce all laws on books

Deport all illegals when found

Sanction complicit employers

I don't know what the final version of the bill is, and I'm sure you don't either, so what's to disagree with at this stage?
I would like to see them just enforce the laws already in place, round up and deport these here illegally and forbid them from future entry. If they broke the law once, they will do it again.
In no way am I against legal immigration, but this situation is wrong and they should not be rewarded for their illegal attitude and disregard for our laws.
Now, as far as your statement that "nothing will be able to stop these politicians", just what is there in place now that will stop them, regardless of our voices, they do what they damn well please, not what we want.

No! Newt succeeded in slowing down the Bankrupting of the US by forcing Clinton to put time limits on welfare. The new Immigration bill just adds more to the welfare roles. Once the illegals become legal they no longer do the work the citizens will not.

The reason people come to the 1st world is the infrastructure that has been installed enables BOTH the rich & poor to create wealth be using is to sell products. The 3rd world hasn't installed infrastructure. They use any funds they receive to supply emmediate needs. They buy fish instead of a fishing pole!

The media are lying. The Immigration bill would have been supported if it dealt with only legals, the security on the border and the enforcement of the laws on the books. Then there would have been no citizen revolt like this bill has seen.

2007-06-07 15:47:21 · answer #7 · answered by Anonymous · 5 0

Well they're trying to pass it to control the # of people coming over. If you're not from California or Texas where the borders are, then you don't know everything about this. We are overwhelmed with the number of immigrants coming to the US. A lot of them end up going to jail, which is paid by tax payers. They eventually get sent back to Mexico and it's a never ending cycle.

Hey, let's leave out the useless media. The politicians won't listen to the people.

No, I want the immigration bill to go down in flames.

2007-06-07 15:48:40 · answer #9 · answered by Anonymous · 5 0

No, because the immigration bill won't do anything but compound the current immigration problem. Immigration is going to get far worse if it is passed.
