I really don't know that much about this kind of stuff, and not sure either if satanic is the right word to describe those kind of "activities" but those self-proclamed as satanist are now getting to be some kind of social issue in many countries, due to the nature of some of their rituals, such as the sacrifice of animals, unborn childs, etc.
I can tell -from the city i live in- there has been groups of these people who actually have commited a murder (but were caught by police) or some others who has a place of gathering, and they invite people, once there, they offer some "fixed" drinks so they can perform orgys. Seriously, i'm not kidding.
Obviously this is incredibly disrturbed people. Actually, i saw a documentary about this sects in Spain, from the TVE network; maybe you can digg in a little bit down there, if you speak or at least understand some spanish.
