I expect the police gave you a notice of intended prosecution, either verbally or on paper. That doesn't mean they WILL, just that they MAY. What happens is that the policeman will turn his report in and a decision will be made elsewhere.
It's not the end of the world if it does go ahead, you'll likely receive a fine and some points (3 - 6).

All speedometers are not accurate, they are usually 10% out. Therefore your speedo would have been registering 95mph so you must have known you were breaking the spped limit. If you go to court they may throw the book at you. £60 and 3 poits are only available on Fixed Penalty Notices issued to you at the time of stopping.

Prepare to pay a butt load of money. In Virginia, 20mph over or anything over 80 is wreckless driving. In that case, you could face suspension and possibly a little jail sentence. A lot of times the judge will knock it down to 79 so it's not wreckless. That's what he did with me. My friend, however, went to jail.

Well, it will depend on your defence, though it is unlikely you will have a valid one. Therefore it will be down to the magistrate & your previous driving record.
Fixed penalty fine and points are only issued for lesser offences, and they don't say they are prosecuting if they just slap points and a fine on you. You could be looking at a month ban and 6points plus a fine.

Well now, you do seem to have a problem. I suggest you cross your fingers and anything else you can think of, that you only get points on your licence and a fine of about 60-100 pounds.

That's a bit harsh, most drivers do about 100 on the motorway anyway and everyone turns a blind eye.
You will have to go to court and pay a fine but if your applying for a job and have to mention criminal convictions, normally prospective employers don't want to know about motoring offences - so you won't have to worry about declaring it.
