Call him, but don't change your voice or anything. You have nothing to lose by letting him know you like him, it sounds like, so just jump in and do it.

I don't think that's a good idea... once I text a guy pretending to be a friend and told him I liked him and it really scared him off! If its a mobile number just send him a friendly text saying hi my brother gave me your number hope you don't mind and then try to work it from there. If not just wait until you see him next, when its just the 2 of you, and just say my brother gave me your number would you mind if I called you some time? If he likes you too he'll say yes for definite. If he doesn't its subtle enough for him to just think you were being friendly! Good luck!

It's such a shame that many girls are left in this situation, why is not ever the man that is left asking this question to himself? Well I reckon you should call him ask him if he wants to join you to a concert, coffee or a film that you thought he might enjoy. But be yourself honey, why would he be intrested in you if you havent got the confidence in you to be you. Plus I really do think he will know it's you, and you will feel silly when he tells you that. So call him see how it goes, you will regret it if you don't. Don't be coy and try to change your voice and call him. That would just make him mad when he found out it was you. Get your brother to help you out - the next time the guy comes over have your brother include you in what they do. That way you can just be yourself and talk with him. Asking him if he has a girlfriend is a cue to him that you are interested, as is your behavior when you are around him. Asking him questions about himself is the best way to converse with him as most people love to talk about themselves!

Sounds like you have a problem. I'm not sure how old you are...but I strongly suggest that you do not call and change your voice. Also, what do you have to loose by calling him and talking with him. You should be yourself and drop him hints that you want to get to know him better. Don't be too desperate...us guys like a girl who is hard to get as well. The worst thing that can happen is he is not interested. At least you tried! Good luck!

If your bro is best friend with him, then he should know whether he has a gf or not. Ask your bro but most likely if your bro gave you his # he knows for sure he's available and maybe he's also interested in you. Unless you're not in good term with your bro. Anyway, just by you calling he should understand that you're interested. Make a very casual conversation. What's up or what you're doin kind of conversation and asked him out. Make it as casual as possible. Go out on a group date so there would be cushion to avoid alone awkward moments. Good luck.

I think you should call him but dont tell him u have a crush on him unless u know that he likes you. Or it will be akwad but call him talk to him and hey if the chance comes I say take it but dont just blurt it out. Nah, that would be like playing a game and that's not cool. If you like this guy then tell him. I know it's hard, but what's the worst that can happen. It could be that this guy likes you too and that's why your brother gave you his number. Be brave and take a chance.

no not a good idea. if you like him just tell him. u should never call someone that did not give you their number. unless your brother asked him and he gave permission. why not have your brother drop the hint that u like him. that way since your soooooooooooooo shy atleast u had someone u trust deliver the message.

Take this advice with you the rest of your life. Never resist doing something for fear of being let down or embarrassed. Either its a yes or a no from him him. If its no, no big deal and move on, or give him time to change his mind. If its a yes, then great. Ask him out for a study date, a dinner, or a movie
