I'm soooo frustrated right now. Last night my girlfriend and I were watching TV and she made a comment about a guy she thought was hot. I admit it pissed me off so I made a comment about a woman I thought was fine. She got angry and stormed out of the room and now she's mad at me. She thinks its ok for her to make comments about other men in front of me but I cant comment on other women. Is this fair? She sounds insecure to me.

Yes, and most women are insecure like that. Hey, what's good for the goose is good for the gander. And there's nothing wrong with admiring an attractive body.

Girls are sensitive and mostly insecure but don't worry about it too much. You shouldn't have gotten pissed off because just because she said a guy is hot doesn't mean she had feelings for him or anything. So just talk it over with her and tell the truth about how you feel.

you both sound insecure.... in this great big world you both need to realize that there will be other attractive people besided the two of you. I don't think it's anything wrong with commenting on someones else appearance but you have to remember not to do it in a disrespectful manner. If it offends your mate you shouldn't do it.

You both need to mature a bit....it's fine to think that people on TV or in movies are good looking. But they are ON TV!
When I lived w/ my (now ex) bf, I had Edward Norton on my wallpaper b/c I think he's dreamy. My bf didn't really care. I would not have cared if he put an attractive young lady on the computer. We had an understanding...at the end of the day, I was coming home to HIM an no one else. (and vice versa)

No, of course it's not fair.

You should try having a talk with her and explain your point of view and then suggest that the two of you both refrain from saying other ppl of the opposite gender are sexy because of what happened, and stick to it! This is an easy thing to fix.

she sounds very insecure and she overreacted.
but was it a woman that you both knew? one of her friends? if it was an actress or singer or some famous person she shouldnt have gotten mad at all.

Sounds like someone just learned their first lesson about women....

1. women do not like hearing about other hot chicks... even if they just said another guy was cute....

I know its not fair...

you both sound insecure... grow up a little. Things like that don't matter. ESPECIALLY when it's on TV!!

If she said you can say too. But talk with her. Both stop or both continue "fair".
