Just so you know this has nothing to do with me, its just a question out of curiousity.
What if you met a guy online (for ex: myspace) and he was cute, intelligent, great personality and a single father. What if you thought he was the best guy you ever met but when you heard he was a single dad, that was the icing on the cake. The only thing is, that when you actually met him in person he didnt have a child and lied to you only cause he thought that was the only way he would get you. Would you still talk to him after he lied about that?

It depends on what over vibes I was getting. I believe in second chances but I'm not an idiot either. Is everything else he said true? Does he feel bad about having lied? Does he seem geniune? If those questions get 3 yesses, then I'd give another chance, but I'd be very wary. If there were any no's, then I'd get lost.

Yes honey a lot of men do that most men ask there sister to borrow their child to go on walks cause it gets men or they buy puppies cause thats what women loves. And when women see the baby they go ohh im the uncle or father to show that they are really good with kids. Still talk to him

Being a single father is not "the icing on the cake," who wants a partner with an annoying bratty kid that comes with him?
A lie like that would be inconsiderate and I wouldn't bother with him anymore.

Starting a relationship out with a lie is very bad. People typically act on their best behavior in the begining of a relationship so I would wonder what else he was hiding and would reveal later on.
I would run.

to lie about something that was so stupid is wrong..usually alot of people would run in the opposite direction if they knew that you were a single father... i would want to really know the reason why you would make something up like that... but if you would lie to me to get my attention then what other little things would you lie about in the relationship.... i would probably step back from you alittle bit till i knew that i could trust you again... trust is a important thing....

Yeah, but why would he lie about having a kid? That something new to hear. But it's not no big thing to stop talking to him over.

It would depend on his age honestly. I wouldn't talk to him as much, but I probably would a little bit. I would gradually stop. The desire to contact him would still be slightly alive, but I wouldn't contact him as much as before.

i'm not sure why anyone would lie about being a single dad? doesn't seem like a turn on to me.
no, i would not trust him. maybe talk to him online, but i would not date him.
