Absolutely instead we should acknowledge are share of the blame and work forthrightly in cooperation with all nations in coming up with solutions.

The childish game between the US and China to mutually blame for climate change was clearly on both sides an excuse for inaction.
If you want the ranking of countries on climate change, here is a new report... WITH A LOT OF PICTURES... easy to go through.

Well I would say it is obvious that the US has a greater responsability since in the western world, we had a "free ticket to pollute while developping"... and we would ask now China huge efforts while developping ? While the western world has the technology and money to cut emissions ?
On the top of that, the US has large natural resources for biofuels which China does not have.
China also has a MODERN INDUSTRY.... which means therre is not so much margin for improvement... not like in the US where a lot of heavy industries still date from the 70´s !!!

I wouldnt say they have the blame for it because scientist say cars are the reason for it we dont have factories here and their all in china but we have lots of cars. China isnt the only place either considering other countries are becoming less old fashioned and more revolutionized and caught up on the times. Humans are to blame world wide your right that is hypocritical of the US.

We are just as much to blame for Global Warming than China. We're both in the top of the list of contributors. This reminds me of the ads that have been running lately on TV about Coal power. They're saying that it's cheaper and clean, etc etc. Wow they are nuts! ...And the US is in denial about our Global Warming "contributions"...

I did not know that we blamed them. This is a global crisis. Most of the developed nations contributed to it. The blame is on us all.

look on my source, i get your point because they are building more and more and tons of people live there, but all the surrounding little towns grow agriculture and don't drive cars or use technology. but canada is first, US is second. I don't see China on there.

Yes, but mostly because the US emits more greenhouse gases than China, and far more per capita.

well its high tym we stop playing this blame game ...n instead focus on how to derail this climate change...making out who is responsible for this is not the issue...the issue is that what should be done next...n US should also avoid making these irresponsible comments which would only make the damage control procedure more complicated....
