Do you mean "season"?
If so try adding fresh or dried herbs. Use citrus fruit for pork or chicken, if you need oil use olive oil. Fresh garlic is awesome in food.
Usually adding seasoning only adds sodium not fat and calories.

Your meats are already loaded with fats so stay with chicken & turkey breast, salmon, talipia, most fish except fish with skin .Baked and not fried. All your vegy's and fruits.Raw steamed or grilled but not fried in oil.Season your vegy's with onion, garlic, paprika, most any season will tell you on the label what the spice is best for seasoning. Stay clear of the seasons with sodium in them and MSG. Seasonings have no fat or enough calories to consider.Get a bag of frozen vegy's ,Broccoli, bell peppers peas etc. and stir fry them in a little Italian dressing, taste great.Don't put a lid on your vegy's while stir frying,it seams to make them soggy and it dosen't take but a few minutes to heat them and they will be a little crispy. Eat healthy and the vegy's are low in calories, its the oils , meat, refined sugars and pastas, breads that put the pounds on you.

My FAVORITE thing about summer is summer squash - yellow and green zucchini, crook-neck, patty-pans...yum! They have a lot of natural moisture, so the best ways to cook them are with dry heat. They're excellent on the grill - you can put together a quick marinade of soy sauce, garlic, and some red wine vinegar (and a touch of olive oil if you want...I've done it both ways and you really don't need it if you won't miss the flavor). Slice them thick lengthwise in half or in thirds and cook them until they've got nice grill marks and are tender. Or you can do the same thing with them under the broiler...soooo yummy!

Since finding out I am a diabetic, I have found that garlic is a good healthy way to season both meats and veggies.
( Mrs. Dash- is the next best healthy way to go)

olive oil and lemon juice is a great marinade for meat and seafood and the lemon juice partially 'cooks' the meat so you will only have to pop it on the grill for a few minutes and it will be really tender and taste great.
Also- I found a bunch of really good, low-calorie dinner ideas on the slim fast website (of all places...lol!). Have a look at the link below. Bon Appetit!

using italian dressing is a wonderful way to season both.
Ms. Dash has low sodium and I believe low calories.
I suggest going to the Food Network webiste.

Fresh or dried herbs, fruit, citrus fruit juice, wine, soy sauce, garlic... I can't really think of a way to season things that adds many calories or a lot of fat.

I learned this from a cooking show. Roast your veggies in the oven with olive oil, salt and pepper. Excellent!

Personally, I love fresh rosemary on potatoes, pork, turnips,.....
Badia makes a "Complete Seasoning" that I use as well as the dry Hidden Valley Rance dressing packets but, use it sparingly.
