I've been reading lots of questions and answers in the religious section and was just struck by the thought "what if we are all wrong?". When the world ends will we all be standing around with our thumbs up the gazoo going huh?
Every religious group and non-religious group thinks they are right. Maybe all of this is a big joke and the Powers That Be are having a grand time watching us kill ourselves off with such nonsense.

Finally a thought that is worth talking about. That is probably closer to the truth than one might think in my opinion. That is my opinion . What if the world never ends and society never figures that out? Which would be worse?

Interesting. I can’t say I haven’t had that thought before I was saved, but I guess I feel such a strong connection to God that not believing just isn’t an option, and because the God I serve is so so so good to me, I won’t have any regrets, I will still be happy in my morals. I don’t think any Christian will have regretted living a Holy life, but if atheists are wrong, well…..

We are all wrong without a doubt but if we could all be friends and get together , each bringing with us a little bit of what we know - I reckon we could sort it out! Well, a girl can dream...

Everyone feels like that from time to time. Its normal to be unsure. I went through the same thing and just recently I feel that my faith has been strengthened. You just have to have faith. God does exist, without him we would not live. I went through this in college with my instructors giving me reasons do doubt Gods existence. Just hold strong to your faith. God is real I promise you.

The reality and truth of it all , is that we are all wrong!! The concept of god was created by mankind! If and I mean if by some slight chance there was a higher force controlling us, then that force would be so far beyond our comprehension, we as mere peons would be to it, as are ants are to us! INSIGNIFICANT!!!!

This is what my spiritual director says. He thinks deity is so far beyond us we can only grasp on to bits and then we cloud up the little bit we see with our own wishful thinking.
