I've been dating a guy who's quite a bit older than me. We've been dating about 10 months but we live quite a distance away. I have completely fallen head over heels in love and he doesn't seem to feel the same. I told him I loved him once and got no response. The whole time we were together I gave him every out possible and his response was that he didnt want to not be with me. Then a a month or so after I called it quits, he was hurt and couldn't believe I would move on. Why is he so detatched?

Why did you call it quits? Because he didn't tell you he loved you back? For some people that takes time- and you say you live quite a distance away-
did you ever have a discussion about whatever it was that made you break up?
Sounds like you were on different schedules and you did him a favor by breaking it off

Most people don't know what they have until it's gone. It sounds like he liked the long distance relationship but that is not for everyone. Allot of men are afraid to commit so they act like they don't care when they really do. Men don't like for women to move on cause that means they lost.

im sorry its hard to understand but he only wants to get into your pants trust me. it has happened to me many many times i should no. him not saying anything after you said you loved him that was a big sign. its cuz he doesnt love you he just wants sumthin else trust me. dont care about him it will be hard but u need to move on

sounds like the relationship HASN'T got to THAT point just yet... give him time or if you aren't able to wait - for whatever reason - then dump him...
