i have always shaved my bikini line but due to the nasty rash it leaves, which looks horrible when wearing a bikini, im about to wax for my first time tomorrow, i'm doing it myself at home. I'm very scared especially as i feel it will hurt more down there so does anyone know good pain free tips! Ways to wax without the pain! thank you!!

Be sure to pull the skin tight before you pull the wax strip. Also it helps to pull against the direction of the hair growth. Have a really cold wet towel nearby to put pressure on the area immediately after you pull, this will help alleviate pain. One time when I had my eyebrows waxed, the clinician put powder on my brows before she waxed them so the wax would not stick (and pull) the skin. Best of luck. I am considering a self-bikini wax. I have been waxing that area for about 2 years for the same reason. I will tell you that the first time is horrible but the hair is so fine now that I barely even notice it. I will suggest after using probably 10 different products that I have fallen in love with the Nair microwave wax kit. They all claim to come off with water but this one really does. I also suggest you buy some extra strips and don't forget practice makes perfect. It takes me about 20 minutes (after 2 yrs) but it saves me a ton of money doing it myself.

Follow the instructions to a "T." Home waxing doesn't really work all that well, especially the first few times. If you don't do it right you can cause your skin to tear and bleed. BE CAREFUL!

somethimes in case you place vasline on and then rub it on and then like an hour later wax it and precise once you get down waxing placed your quit it or you may get it down on the salon!!! be carefull if that doesnt artwork then you definately can use Nair that works alot too!!

i have never got waxed b4 but some of my freinds have and they say that they if you get drunk before you go in its not that bad it still hurts a lil but not as bad

try numbing the area with ice before proceding. that is my best guess.the real question is...are you brave enough to take advice on something like this from a man?
