Yes--just a little. A guy who is 5'3" should weigh between 130-150 lbs. But don't get upset and try to lose 20 lbs. You are in puberty. You are going to grow (and grow and) so just watch what you eat. Don't eat junk/fast food. Limit your soda (regular kind with sugar). Not only will it rot your teeth, it will make you fat, fat, fat. Switch to diet soda.
And get out there and exercise!

yes.
eat healthy and exercise.
if you have a dog walk it everyday (or try to) for about 30 minutes to an hour.
and if you don't have a dog then just walk around.
bike riding is also great and so is roller blading which helps your legs and calves.
swimming helps tone the body and shed the pounds, jogging, walking, roller blading, jumping rope, pilates all help you lose weight. exercise in the morning before you eat so you can burn stored fat for energy (like push-ups, sit-ups, crunches, jump rope, bicycle kicks, pilates, ect.)
lunges help your legs and using small dumbells tone your arms. while watching tv you can use the dumbells and they only cost like $3 at walmart or target :)
diet;
eat healthy: veggies, and fruit!
eat 5 small meals a day so you wont get hungry but if they are big you will actually gain weight!
if you ever do get hungry eat a small healthy snack; never starve yourself! because then your body clings to everything you eat! cut down on junk food; no soda, desserts, candy, chips, anything!
maybe treat yourself once a week with pizza or something but DO NOT stuff your face with it! and maybe have a couple of diet sodas a week but have no more then 4.
and drink lots of water! 6-8 glasses a day!

Eating right and exercising are good points. I will add to that.
Find a friend to exercise with. Make appointment or schedules and help each other keep them.
On the food, try to keep it simple. Slightly smaller portions, healthy snacks and half the dessert portion you usually eat. This should keep you satisfied, but reduce your calorie intake. And the exercise will burn some.
Drink eight glasses of water a day. (not tea, soda, etc.)
You might grow taller and all, like someone said. But the above will get you on your way to a lifestyle you can life with forever.

Your definatly overweight. Try walking and jogging. They burn fat but are not hard on your bones and muscles. Also watch wat you eat. When you crave junk food, try eating something healthier. You need to chose light yogurt with a lil bit of granola instead of chips!
