If I remember my genetics studies correctly, if she mates with a tailless manx, half the kittens will lack tails, one quarter will have a full tail and the other quarter will have bobtails.
If she mates with a cat with a full tail, three quarters of the kittens will have full tails, and the remainder will have either bobtails or no tail.

It's a matter of percentages ... if your cat mates with another cat with a 'full tail' there is only a 25% chance or less that you'll get kittens with no tail. If she mates with a Manx cat with no tail, the odds are much greater, and go up to 75% of getting kittens with no tail. If your cat mates with another 'full tailed' cat with one parent who was a Manx, your 'odds' will be 50% for 'tail' or 'no tail' ... but that is 'over the lifetime of the cat' so the actual numbers may be much higher or much lower per litter.

Watch for infection, just use the peroxide twice a day, I would say... but I'm not a vet... keep the male away from the kittens. He will kill them, he already tried. As long as the mother doesn't stop taking care of it and there is no infection the kitten will adapt. I would love to hear about the Manx. I have one with a long tail. His brothers don't have any. They are huge!

Chances are very good! many years ago I had a beautiful long haired long tailed cat that mated with another of the same and we had 3 kittens.. one with a little bitty bunny type of tail.. one with a tail a about as long as your pinkie finger and one with a half as long tail as their mom. I never expected this but what a great surprise!! Cute as can be!

Depends on the father - if he won't be a manx then it's (obviously) less likely - and you'd need to know how recessive the tailess gene is

It can happen, though the odds will be lower of her kittens being tailless.

Yes, that can happen. It really is a 50/50 chance.
