Hmmm, good question. My best friend is from NY and he's been there for the past 11 yrs I think. I have another that went on a student visa I think. The best answer will be given if you call a Mexican embassy here in the US. Good luck

yes, you will need a visa to visit for a day it is the law now. especially if you plan on staying for a year.
enjoy the fruits of our country then come back and tell people how wonderful the people are, beautiful the cities are, and how rich the food is... it will all be that way! ENJOY!!!!

Do yourself a favor and DONT GO!!! If so many of us Mexicans are coming here to the US it's for a reason. If you know what's good for you, you'll stay here int he US.
