It depends on the size of the screen. The smaller screens are definitely not HD, as the pixels would be too tiny to squeeze into such a small display. I believe any newer Widescreen LCD 19" or larger will usually be HD.

A screen has to be at least 1280 pixels wide to be considered 720p.
