You have a choice to get upset or let it go... we have freewill...I make a conscience choice to ignore answers that offend me...I let that stuff role off and keep the things that help me grow spiritually....I see a lot of answers that I think to myself are just uncalled for, but at least I do not have to account for that behavior at the end of the day....Let Go and Let God.....
Peace be with you.....

all i can only speak for my self. There is a season for everything
.Just because I am sweet ;never mistake me for weak!
I can disagree agreeable. Even the ocean has boundaries.
People are in titled to their opinion as i am mine.
Hurting people hurt people.
Some people are sincere. some people are just mean.
some are just uninformed. some are just insane, lol
What would Jesus do? hmmmlol That I haven't always done.; but I try too.
Jesus wasn't a wimp. He was strong enough to be gentle.
When he seen the money changers ripping people off in the temple .
he became angry and what did he do?
What did he say?", He said my fathers house is a house of prayer and you have made it a den of thieves. he turned the money changers tables over and whipped them out with a whip. They were cheating people in God's house. It depends on the situation. This is question and answer. I try to defend my belief respectfully. Sometimes i do and occasionally i don't.

I can answer this without quoting scripture...I'll just refer to it.
We are supposed to love everyone as much as Jesus loves us. We also need to remember that while we may see no evidence now, we have no idea how the seeds we plant today will take effect tommorrow.....do you want to sow seeds of discontent or seeds of love?
We are not really turning the other cheek. Your implying that their nasty comments hurt us. This is a cyber zone. This is not your best friend attacking your beliefs. At the end of the day, does it matter that someone said something online that was not nice?
I know I will sleep very well tonight, not matter how many hateful comments are typed here, because I will know I was not the one who typed them.

As Christians, we MUST turn the other cheek. There is no other way.
I get much more discouraged by the comments of Christians on here, than I ever could by the Atheists.
It's like the difference between being disappointed in a mature person you respect vs. the disappointment you can feel in a 3-yr. old child.

Some people make rude comments because they want answers, but don't want to ask for them. When I see a rude comment that includes obvious biblical misinformation, I'll usually answer it with scripture. Other rude comments can be dismissed, since satan's demons are always at work and need not be addressed. I don't defend christianity, since the Bible speaks for itself.

I think it depends on the situation. Some rude comments are aimed at getting a response out of people and I try not to give the asker the satisfaction of "getting to me." But when what someone says is outright untrue, I do speak up.
There's a difference between being a doormat and ignoring petty, malicious people.

Defend your beliefs. As individuals we should expect no less as Christ clearly tells us. If they hated me they will hate you too.
Speak out against inaccuracies concerning the faith. If people think Christians are mental then perhaps the Christians they accuse of this should ask what they have said to prompt such remarks. If the comments are simply vulgar then ignore them as they are unworthy of being replied to. And as for turning the other cheek, no where are Christians told to be doormats. But personal attacks - ignore them.

Yes, we should be doormats, kind of...
We should care about the person more than the issue...
Will it do more damage than good? It depends on the situation and the audience. I think you can usually tell how sincere the question is.
Address the question or issue without attacking the person. If I can't defend or explain my belief without making the listener feel belittled then I'm not presenting the gospel well.

I, in being more spiritual than Christian, think defending your belief is part of your Christianity. When you spread "the word" that's your opportunity to tell people what you believe in. Not everyone believes the same way, that's when Christians feel they need to work harder. As for the hateful comments, do you really care? Do you even know these people? Do they know you? Answer from your heart.

I believe we are to represent Christ in EVERY area of our lives. That doesn't mean being a doormat; but it doesn't mean being offensive either. Jesus spoke not a word against His accusers, and as He was dying on the cross, He prayed "Father, forgive them. They know not what they do." Are we better than Him? I don't think so. The non-believers simply can NOT understand things from the perspective of a believer because they haven't accepted Christ, so they are not able to see things from God's point of view. Christians just need to ACCEPT that, plant the seed of truth, and let GOD do the rest.
Constructive confrontation is perfectly acceptable, but vengeance belongs to the Lord. Try reading "Jesus, Mean & Wild"!

No use defending yourself, those who make these comments will just fight back with MORE disgusting and downright hateful comments. Just move on, and thank God that there for the grace of God goes I.
